A prominent leaker has unveiled details about how much the Collector’s Edition of the upcoming 007 First Light will cost. 007 First Light will likely be available in both Standard and Collector’s Editions, but gamers who want the most expensive package will have to pay a hefty price.
007 First Light was originally revealed as “Project 007” by developer IO Interactive back in 2020. The title was formally announced back in June 2025, with a trailer that showcased a young James Bond as the protagonist of the next 007 game. The game will feature Bond’s origin story, as the inexperienced MI6 agent undertakes a dangerous mission that will give him a license to kill. 007 First Light will be the first James Bond game in over a decade, as the IP has mostly been dormant in the gaming space since 2012’s 007 Legends. There is a lot of hype surrounding the upcoming release, which is expected to be released sometime in 2026.
While 007 First Light's Bond May Look Like Nathan Drake, Players Shouldn't Be Expecting Uncharted
007 First Light is introducing players to a new, swashbuckling version of James Bond, but no one should anticipate Uncharted-style action.
007 First Light's Collector's Edition Leaked Price
- 007 First Light's Standard Edition: $70
- 007 First Light's Collector's Edition: $300
Popular leaker Billbil-kun (spotted by Insider Gaming) has recently reported that 007 First Light will have a physical version and a Collector’s Edition. While the Standard Edition will cost the expected price of $70 on all modern consoles, the 007 First Light Collector’s Edition will be exclusive to the PS5 and cost $300. Unfortunately, it’s still unknown what’s included in this deluxe edition, but for this price, gamers can likely expect some high-quality goodies.
The title will also be sold digitally for the same price of $70. PC gamers who are interested in 007 First Light can earn exclusive wishlist rewards before they purchase the title. According to a Steam post made back in July, gamers can gain rewards such as new skins for James Bond, custom gadget skins, and more.
IO Interactive has already revealed some details about 007 First Light, including the appearance of iconic characters, replayable missions, unique gadgets, and more. IO Interactive also confirmed that, like Hitman, 007 First Light will have post-launch support with new missions added over time. However, the developers also assured the community that fans would gain access to the complete intended experience at launch.
To learn more about 007 First Light, gamers should watch for the PlayStation State of Play announced for September 3. During the event, 30 minutes of gameplay following Bond’s first mission as an MI6 recruit will be shown, which will likely give players a better idea of what to expect in the upcoming action-adventure title.
