The map is new and player-friendly, as it has a large forest area on Manhattan Island. There is very little wasted space on this map. It is mostly covered in POIs, which fits really well with the map being based on New York, which is a fully urbanized city itself.

This entry actually covers a map pack, called ChaseC's Maps, that includes three different custom maps. Survival Island is a very small map, intended to be a challenge map, with the player trying to survive with limited resources. Xbox World is a 10k map based on the classic Xbox logo, and Fun World is another 10k map based on a clown's face.

Each map has been lovingly crafted, and all of them would be a good choice for players who want to play on a map that has a distinctive character. The Survival Island map can also be used for additional gameplay challenges, such as small-scale PvP battles.

This 7 Days To Die map is something a little different. Firstly, rather than simply chopping the map up into separate biomes, the designer has created a map with a choice of biome based on the elevation of the terrain. As such, the very highest parts of the map are the snow biome, and then, as the elevation lowers, it moves through forest, burnt, desert, and wasteland.

There are no towns or cities on the Dealer's Choice Map. Instead, it focuses on wilderness POIs, which have been placed in locations such as cliff edges and hilltops. The designer has stated that they wanted to open up some cool options for base locations by doing this.

This is another 7 Days To Die map from DirkillerGaming. This time around, British Isles Undead One aims to recreate the British Isles. It covers England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. City POIs have been placed in locations that correspond with real-world cities, such as London.

Many of the POIs have been hand-placed to try and make the map look more natural and fit with the aesthetics of particular regions. There are also many hidden areas and plenty of hidden loot chests for players to find by exploring the map.

Here we have another map that was designed by Fluffy Panda for 7 Days To Die. Fluffy Panda 1.0 Radstorm isn’t recommended for new players, as it is intended to make the survival gameplay more of a focus. Three versions of the map are included in the download: a 6k version, a 10k version, and a huge 16k version.

Biomes are nicely placed, and each one has a decently sized city within it. However, it is the radiation zones that are going to be the biggest survival challenge, as they mean the player has to work out safe routes between biomes to avoid them.

Many entirely new POIs are included with this map, including some taller skyscrapers, some nice new low-tier POIs, and also two entirely new traders, an underground trader and a flying trader. At the time of writing, this map represents the pinnacle of community map-making for 7 Days To Die and easily deserves the top place on this list.
