Legendary Parts are crucial for survival in 7 Days To Die. While they aren't needed during the early stages, after the first couple of weeks, as players unlock the ability to craft higher-level weapons and armor pieces, they will find themselves needing as many Legendary Parts as they can find.
Newer players may find it difficult to get all the Legendary Parts needed to craft their desired high-level items. However, with the right know-how, farming Legendary Parts becomes fairly easy. 7 Days To Die is a game that is centered around efficiency. Being able to farm Legendary Parts quickly can mean the difference between surviving a horde night and ending up as a meal for a bunch of hungry zombies.
7 Days To Die: 5 Best POIs During The Early Game
Searching POIs in 7 Days to Die can be an incredibly rewarding experience. Here are the best ones to check out during the early game.
Get Legendary Parts For Completing Trader Missions
There are a couple of different ways that you can get hold of some Legendary Parts. However, there's only one way that guarantees you being awarded Legendary Parts; completing certain tier 6 missions.
Tier 6 trader missions are great for farming Legendary Parts. Upon completing a mission, the trader will have a handful of rewards. You will be able to choose one or two of the rewards depending on the mission difficulty and your perk selection. Not every tier 6 mission will award you with Legendary Parts. The missions that offer some as a guaranteed reward option are:
- Clear Missions
- Infested Clear Missions
- Fetch & Clear Missions
You may also get some Legendary Parts for completing other tier 6 missions and possibly some tier 5 missions, but the three mentioned above are the only ones that are guaranteed to have Legendary Parts as one of the mission reward options.
Searching For Legendary Parts
Looting is another way to get Legendary Parts, but this relies on a few factors; luck, level, perks, magazines, consumables, and armor. Legendary Parts are rare items. So, the percentage chance of finding some is relatively low. Also, Legendary Parts won't start spawning until you reach level 15. So be sure to reach level 15 before going on a hunt for them.
Once you've hit level 15, you will have a small chance of finding Legendary Parts. However, there are some things that increase your chances of finding some:
- Read Wasteland Treasures Magazines - Finding and reading all 7 volumes will increase your chances of finding Legendary Parts.
- The Higher Your Loot Stage, The Higher Your Chances - As you play, your loot stage will go up. The higher the loot stage, the better the odds are of you finding some Legendary Parts.
- Your Level Impacts Your Chances - As you level up, the loot that spawns inside containers will get better. This includes the chances of you finding rare items like Legendary Parts.
- The Loot Containers You Search - The better the container, the better the odds of finding Legendary Parts. While you may occasionally find some Legendary Parts inside trash bags, you are much more likely to find some inside air drops, locked containers, and zombie loot bags.
