AFK Journey can present players with many different challenges, one of the most difficult of which is PvP battles. To win, you will need to use your best heroes, but the reward is worth it. Therefore, in this guide, we will tell you everything you need to know about the PvP mode, aka Arena in AFK Journey.

AFK Journey: Snow Stomper Guide
Snow Stomper is one of the few bosses you can face in AFK Journey, and here is how you can beat it.
AFK Journey Arena Mode, Explained
In AFK Journey's Arena mode, you have to fight with other players and earn Points. The more Points you earn, the higher your Rank and your rewards will be. However, you can't just go and start defeating other players in PvP battles. First, you need to build a formation of your best characters.
Team building is a crucial part of your progression in the Arena. The formation you choose will be used both to attack other players and to defend if you are attacked. Therefore, we recommend that you pay attention not only to the individual stats of each hero, but also to their synergy and effectiveness as a team.
Having chosen the appropriate characters, you will also need to choose one of several maps on which they will defend themselves. Note, that some maps have barriers that can help you repel an attack. Once you've done this, you can finally start the real battles in the AFK Journey Arena.
How to Challenge Other Players in Arena Mode in AFK Journey
At the beginning of each day, players receive 5 free Challenge Tokens, and additional Tokens can be purchased for Diamonds, but not more than 5 per day. These should not be confused with Arena Tokens, which are the currency in AFK Journey.
One Challenge Token is needed to attack other players once. You just need to press the Challenge button to see three players to choose from, with whom you can fight. If you don't like any of them, then you can press the refresh button to get three new enemies to choose from. However, players can do this no more than six times a day.
Besides their nickname, you can also see their Arena Points score and overall power. The latter is the most important number, since, thanks to it, you can choose an enemy equal in strength to you in the AFK Journey Arena. And we recommend that you fight enemies whose power is lower than yours. In this case, your victory is almost 100% guaranteed. If you are confident in your formation, you can choose a stronger opponent. But remember, if you are defeated, you will lose some of your points.

Arena Rewards in AFK Journey
Unfortunately, you won't be able to earn rewards for each of your Arena battles in AFK Journey. Instead, you will increase your point score. This score determines your Rank, for which you can receive rewards. There are three types of rewards in AFK Journey Arena:
- First-time Rewards - When you reach a new Rank, you will receive Diamonds as a reward. But it can only be taken once per Rank. So if you go down in rank and then come back again, you won't be able to get Diamonds.
- Daily Rewards - At the end of each day, depending on the Rank, players receive a certain amount of Arena Tokens and Gold.
- Weekly Rewards - Players get Arena Tokens and Gold but at the end of each week. On the higher Ranks, players are also rewarded with Hourglasses and Godseye Stones.
Once you've earned enough Arena Tokens, you should visit the Arena Store, where players can find various Soul Sigils. These are essential for ascending characters in AFK Journey, which is why the Arena plays such an important role in your progression.
