In AFK Journey, Warriors often serve as the Main DPS in a team, alongside some Rogues and Marksmen. These characters can deal heavy damage to enemy troops, while also utilizing additional talents, such as debuffing or healing. Whether a player is attempting to get through the main story, or reach higher numbers in the Dream Realm, a Warrior character can help carry the load.
AFK Journey: Every Mage Character, Ranked
Mages in AFK Journey offer a great blend of damage and character buffs, and with seven of them in the game, some are more valuable than others.
With seven different Warriors to choose from, it can be difficult to determine which one will work best in a player's chosen team. Each character has their strengths and weaknesses, though some will far outshine the others.
7 Valen
Only Beginner-Friendly

Valen has the ability to be a fantastic damage-dealer. When fans of AFK Journey use him early on, he can easily finish off enemy teams with just a few hits. As players get further into the game, though, he loses his strength quite quickly. His Ultimate is relatively weak, and will take multiple hits for an enemy to be taken down. Along with this, he isn't a character that often appears in the Banners, making it difficult to unlock his additional Skills.
Valen is one of the first characters unlocked at the beginning of AFK Journey, and is essentially only useful as a starter option. Once players unlock more characters to choose from, Valen's damage output will pale in comparison. He isn't worth the time and effort to level up and spend Diamonds on, especially when there are easier characters to unlock that will provide much more to the team.
6 Kafra
A Surprisingly Weak All-Rounder

While Kafra does possess a few helpful skills, such as reducing enemy Phys DEF and giving the team a bit of healing, he won't be able to provide enough to the team on his own. Kafra can only really shine when paired with other melee-focused team members, such as Seth or Satrana, since his healing will only apply to those immediately closest to him. The other positive of Kafra is that he can reduce enemy Haste, but this is about all he can be useful for.
His Ultimate is quite underwhelming, focusing solely on one enemy and dealing a surprisingly minimal amount of damage with a small knockback. While Kafra can be useful when placed in a melee-focused team, he is quite limited and lacking in any significant qualities. Gamers are better off choosing a more powerful Warrior who can keep up with the rest of the team.
5 Kruger
A Phys DEF Shredder

If there's one thing that Kruger is good at, it's reducing enemy Phys DEF. His Ultimate will knock down an enemy, and deal a decent bit of damage to them, while also inflicting them with three stacks of a Phys DEF reduction of 10 percent. Some of his other skills will add further to these stacks - such as Smashing Assault - while also inflicting an additional bit of damage to slow them down. While this makes him incredibly useful in the Dream Realm, he is quite deficient in other sectors.
AFK Journey: All Support Characters, Ranked
Support characters in AFK Journey are the go-to option for healing, buffs, and debuffs. With eight Supports in total, some are better than the rest.
Against multiple enemies, players will find that Kruger won't last long. He's really only useful in the Dream Realm at the beginning of AFK Journey, and then players will have to invest a bit in him to keep up with the Dream Realm's difficulty. He's certainly useful in specific team setups, making him possibly worth adding to a fan's Wishlist, but he isn't a Warrior that many would choose to bring along into the endgame.
4 Brutus
A (Not So) Immortal Beast

Brutus has a lot going for him at first. He possesses the ability to become immune to fatal blows from his Indomitable skill, he can reduce enemy Phys DEF, and he can deal a good amount of AoE damage with his Ultimate. Where he really stands out is when his Exclusive Weapon is unlocked, which gives him the chance to perform an attack that also provides healing for him, therefore allowing him to stay alive for longer periods of time.
However, if a player does not possess Brutus' Exclusive Weapon, he really falls short in terms of survivability. He can't use Indomitable repeatedly to prevent fatal blows, so often, he will end up being defeated soon after the battle begins. His Exclusive Weapon will solve this issue by providing him with consistent healing, meaning that gamers will struggle to use him at his base levels. He can be a great character to have, but only for those willing to invest in his ascension and upgrades.
3 Igor
A Fast And Destructive Ally

Unlike a lot of the previous Warriors mentioned here, Igor has no problem staying alive in battle. He has multiple skills to protect himself, especially Ghastly Explosion, which allows him to gain Damage Immunity and prevent himself from being targeted. He can also easily reduce the healing that enemies receive, while giving himself a bit of healing in return. Needless to say, players who deploy Igor on the battlefield will notice that he will almost never be the first to fall.
Along with impressive survivability and speed, Igor excels at slowly chipping away at enemy health. Paired with some heavy damage dealers, such as a Marksman, Igor will easily help the rest of the team to deal that final blow and take out the enemy. The only negative for Igor is that he himself doesn't deal massive amounts of damage, but it isn't too big of an issue considering the rest of his abilities.
2 Scarlita
Devastating Blows And Stuns

Scarlita has a slew of impressive skills. This includes a powerful Ultimate that knocks back multiple enemies to the edge of the field, and stuns them for a short period of time. She also immediately moves to the backline at the beginning of the battle, buffing her ATK and restoring her Energy, while dealing additional damage and lengthy stuns. For those players who have successfully unlocked her Exclusive Weapon, they'll see an even more significant improvement, especially when up against multiple enemies.
AFK Journey: All Tank Characters, Ranked
With a total of 7 Tank characters available in AFK Journey, it goes without saying that some exceed others. Here's how they all rank up.
Another one of the best aspects of having Scarlita on the team is that she can provide hefty shields for the team. Though these team-wide shields only exist at the beginning of the battle, so long as players pair Scarlita with additional DPS masters, they won't need much time to defeat the enemy anyway. For those who are really on the hunt for a Warrior to take into the endgame, or to fight all the way through a PvP battle, Scarlita will be an absolute gem to have.
1 Korin
A Force To Be Reckoned With

As an A-Level Warrior, it is unexpected for Korin to be so impressive. Not only can he protect a teammate through his All-Round Tactic skill, but he will then proceed to deal a devastating blow to an enemy afterward. He is also guaranteed to perform Crit attacks on enemies with his Air Strike skill, making it difficult for enemies to retaliate. Korin essentially dominates the battlefield, utilizing abilities in multiple categories, including Support and DPS.
To add on to his incredible talents, once a player unlocks his Exclusive Weapon, he will be able to deal True DMG to an enemy for 8 seconds with additional follow-up attacks, while also increasing his ATK SPD. In the Dream Realm world, Korin is unstoppable as he can easily take down single targets. To those in need of an all-rounder that actually can fulfill their roles, Korin will do the job wonderfully.
