How to Add Friends

To add friends and play with them, there are two crucial things to look out for. Here is everything you’ll need to know:

Choosing Your Server

The initial step involves identifying the server on which you and your friends are playing. If, for instance, your friends are on server S52 and you are on server S97, you won’t have any luck going forward.

The servers are selected automatically as you interact with the main screen. You’ll join the recently created server unless it has reached its automatic add limit. Unfortunately, there's no way to switch servers. To play together, you'll need to queue up simultaneously. While playing together may be challenging, effective communication can simplify the process.

The best way to select your server is to create a new character. This way, you and your friends can opt to play on the same server. Here is how you can create your character in AFK Journey:

Go to the “World Map” and select the “Menu” Icon on the bottom right of the screen.
Select the “Others” option” and go to “Account Services”.
You’ll find the “Character Switch” Option from where you can view your current server.
Choose the option “Create New Character”.
Select the Server you and your friends want to play on and create your character.

Adding Friends

Once you’re done with getting on the same server, adding your friends is quite easy. Here is how you can do it:

Go to the “World Map” and select the “Menu” icon.
Click on the “Friends” icon and select the “Add Friends” button.
You can find it just below the “Quests” button.

Once you’re at this point, search for your friends via their account number. To add friends in-game, approach their character during the game and click the magnifying glass icon. That is where you’ll find the “Friend” button. Click it to send your friend request and progress alongside them in the game.
