How to Advance to the Classical Age

Players will start in the Archaic Age in Age of Mythology: Retold, and their first objective will be to reach the Classical Age. To get to the Classical Age in Age of Mythology: Retold, gamers have to build a Temple and then gather 400 Food.

Players can upgrade their age in Age of Mythology: Retold by opening the god powers wheel or interacting with their Town Center. Before players advance to the next age, they'll be asked to choose a minor god, which will give them access to new tech and grant them an additional god power.

How to Advance to the Heroic Age

The third age in Age of Mythology: Retold is called the Heroic Age, and to reach it, gamers will have to build an Armory or a Market (Greeks) and gather 800 Food and 500 gold.

How to Advance to the Mythic Age

To reach the Mythic Age, players must first build a Market or a Fortress (Greeks), through the villager build menu, and then collect 1,000 Food and 1,000 Gold. The Mythic Age grants players the final god power unlockable through age advancement in Age of Mythology: Retold.

Once players reach the Mythic Age, they'll be able to research the Secrets of the Titans, which will allow them to get their first Titan, one of the most powerful units in Age of Mythology.

How to Advance to the Wonder Age

Lastly, gamers will be able to progress to the Wonder Age, and to do this, they must build a Wonder, which requires 5,000 Food, 5,000 Wood, and 5,000 Gold.

To build a Wonder in Age of Mythology: Retold, gamers must go to the Economy tab in the villager build wheel. It'll take players a handful of minutes to build a Wonder, but it comes with great bonuses that make it worth it. Once players have created a Wonder, they'll be able to build more Titan Gates, they'll automatically increase their Favor output, their Myth and Titan units will be 100 percent more powerful and resilient, and god powers will recharge 75 percent faster.
