In Age of Mythology: Retold, players will have to quickly increase their Villager population so they can have more workers and consequently a better resource output. Gamers can manually train villagers by interacting with their Town Center and selecting the Villager unit, but they can also indefinitely produce them with Autoqueue.

- Toggle Autoqueue on Xbox: Point the Left analog stick in the Villager unit's direction and then press the Right analog stick

Autoqueue will continue to automatically produce Villagers while the player has enough resources and population spots.
How to Change Autoqueue Settings
Players can change Autoqueue settings and modify its default. This means that, before starting a skirmish, players can decide how they can the Autoqueue feature to work once the game begins. Here are the Autoqueue settings in Age of Mythology: Retold and what they do:
- Immediately Autoqueue Villagers at Game Start: If players enable this setting, the Town Center will immediately begin producing Villagers at the start of the game.
- Immediately Autotrain Villagers in newly built Town Centers: If players enable this setting, whenever they build an additional Town Center, it'll start producing Villagers right away.
Players who would rather not use Autoqueue in Age of Mythology: Retold should keep both of these settings off. If they change their minds during a game, they can enable it at their Town Center at any time.
