How to Enable the Legacy Deity Portraits Pack

Players who purchased the Legacy Deity Portraits Pack or the Premium Edition of Age of Mythology: Retold can switch between classic or remade deity portraits.

To choose the classic deity portraits, gamers will have to enable the Legacy Deity Portraits Pack in Age of Mythology: Retold, which they can do by opening the Settings menu, selecting the DLC tab, and selecting "Enable Legacy Deity Portraits Pack." Once activated, gamers will be able to see the classic deity portraits in the Tech Tree and the God Picker menu.

Why Can't I Access the Legacy Deity Portraits?

Gamers who preloaded the game before release might not be able to access the Age of Mythology: Retold DLC content due to an error. Thankfully, there's an easy way to fix this issue.

If DLC content is locked in Age of Mythology: Retold, fans will have to re-install their game. This issue happens when an error causes the Standard Edition of the game to download without the DLC content. In this case, gamers won't be able to access the DLC but when they try to "get it", they'll receive a message saying that they already own it, or they will receive a prompt to purchase the Premium Upgrade even if they have it in their library.

After uninstalling the game, players must make sure they select the version titled "Age of Mythology Premium Edition" when re-downloading it. This should immediately start the download of Age of Mythology: Retold Standard Edition, the Legacy Deity Portraits Pack, and the New Gods Pack: Freyr.
