These Age of Mythology: Retold cheats can be quite useful so check them out.
This guide will show players how they can find settlements, create more towns to expand their territory, and gain an advantage over their adversaries.
How to Find Settlements
As soon as players have set up their game in Age of Mythology: Retold, they'll be inserted into a map and must start working on preparing their town. However, this isn't the only thing gamers should be doing in the early game - it's just as important to gather information on nearby locations and resources.
As players command their scout to explore, the unit will come across all sorts of areas on the map, including abandoned settlements, which can be turned into towns just like the pre-built Town Center.
To find a settlement in Age of Mythology: Retold, gamers have to explore the map. If they're manually commanding the scout, they'll oftentimes notice abandoned buildings in some areas. However, if their scout is automatically exploring, they can find settlements that have been discovered by locating the white Town Center markers on their mini-map:
How to Create a New Town
Some of the settlements that gamers come across might be placed in an enticing location for a new town. If that's the case, then players will want to know how to create more towns in Age of Mythology: Retold.
Initially, players will be limited to one town only. However, they can increase the Town Center build-limit by advancing to the next age; not only does this grant access to special units and technology, but it also makes it possible to manage more towns. Each time players advance to the next age in Age of Mythology: Retold, the Town Center build limit will increase by one.
Once players have loosened these restrictions, they'll need to collect 350 Wood and 350 Gold to build a new Town Center. If they have the required materials, they must pick a Villager, choose the Town Center economic building option, and then select the desired Town Center and the Villager will start working on it.
Creating more towns allows players to store their resources there, provides a safety net after dangerous raids, and it also increases the population cap by 15. This is particularly useful once you've reached the maximum number of houses that can be built.
