There are several steps that players must take before they can add a Titan to their military force. Titans aren't available until gamers reach the Mythic Age in Age of Mythology: Retold, so working towards advancement in their civilization will be the first step to unlocking these terrifying creatures.

The Mythic Age gives players access to the Secrets of the Titan technology, which can be researched at the Town Center. To start researching the Secrets of the Titans technology in Age of Mythology, gamers need 800 Food, 800 Wood, 800 Gold, and 50 Favor.

Once Secrets of the Titans has been researched, players can start working towards building a Titan Gate. The Titan Gate is considered a god power, so players must find it in the God Powers wheel and then place it. Fans should assign several villagers to build it so they can complete it faster. A Titan will emerge from the Titan Gate once construction is complete.
