After completing the Heart chapter in Alan Wake 2, players will have the opportunity to explore new areas within Cauldron Lake. One of those areas is the Witchfinder's Station, and fans will find a computer on the first floor of this structure. Players cannot access the contents of this computer straightaway, though, as they must find enter the administrator password, and this guide contains full details on that computer password in Alan Wake 2.
Alan Wake 2: Computer Code
Players that are attempting to unlock the computer in the Witchfinder's Station should turn their attention to the yellow post-it note that is attached to the monitor. Indeed, the administrator password is written directly on that note, and it is 2547. Notably, it can be quite difficult to read those digits when shining the flashlight directly at them, which is the reason that some Alan Wake fans may struggle to find the password despite the fact that is attached to the computer.
After learning the computer code, players can interact with the device and input the digits to access two emails. While it is not critical that fans read those messages, they do provide some context for the Nursery Rhyme puzzles that they will encounter. In fact, one of those puzzles can be found just outside the Witchfinder's Station, and players that solve it will have the chance to collect the Coffee Mug Charm, which can save Alan Wake 2's Saga Anderson from death one time.
To note, this is not the only Nursery Rhyme puzzle in the area, as there is one at the picnic site just to the south of the Witchfinder's Station. There is also a Nursery Rhyme in front of the nearby private cabin, a location that players can turn into a Break Room. For full clarity, Break Rooms serve the important function of allowing fans to make manual saves in Alan Wake 2, and players are advised to take advantage of that opportunity whenever it presents itself.
For those players that do decide to stop by the private cabin, it is worth mentioning that there is a Cult Stash very near to it. That stash holds a Hand Flare, Propane Tank, and First Aid Kit, and some fans will undoubtedly be excited to claim those items. Players cannot simply walk up to the stash and open it, though, as they must first solve Alan Wake 2's Rock Rock Tree puzzle.
Alan Wake 2 is available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
