While it is not mandatory that fans find these containers, the Manuscript Fragments that are inside of them have an important role to play. To note, players will not be able to access every Lunch Box until they have obtained the Bolt Cutters in Alan Wake 2. For full clarity, that item is earned during the Return 5: Old Gods chapter, and fans that are interested in opening all the Lunch Boxes should plan to return to Cauldron Lake when they have the Bolt Cutters in hand.

Alan Wake 2: Cauldron Lake Lunch Box Locations

  1. On the ground near the fence just south of the Mortar Falls sign.
  2. On the ground near the fence, next to a makeshift tent.
  3. Head north past the FBC Station and climb the ledge on the right to access this Lunch Box.
  4. Pass through the campsite to the west of the Witch's Hut and turn right to find the Lunch Box on the ground, surrounded by colorful rocks.
  5. Follow the path east of the General Store as far north as possible. The Lunch Box is on the ground on the west side of the end of that path.
  6. Start at Alan Wake 2's Witchfinder's Station and move northeast to find the Lunch Box on the ground in the woods.
  7. Follow the path to the east of the Witch's Hut to access the south side of the stream. Travel north to find the Lunch Box on that waterway's west bank.
  8. On top of a dresser in Cabin 2. Requires Bolt Cutters.

  1. On the ground next to the cliff north of the Radio Tower.
  2. Next to a tent in the small campsite.
  3. On the ground just north of the Break Room near Alan Wake 2's Watery Lighthouse.
  4. Next to the shed just north of the Kalevala Knights Workshop.
  5. Pass through the playground in the Lighthouse Trailer Park and look for the Lunch Box in the northwest corner.
  6. Inside the percolator on the east side of Coffee World's south entrance.

Alan Wake 2: Bright Falls Lunch Box Locations

  2. On a small hill southwest of Billie's Boat Yard.
  3. In the grass overlooking the beach.
  4. Start at the fork in the road southwest of the Bunker Woods Break Room. Follow the path behind the signs that point toward Alan Wake 2's Ranger Cabin and Valhalla Nursing Home to reach the Lunch Box.
  5. On the ground, encircled by colorful rocks.
  6. On the ground southwest of the Valhalla Nursing Home.
  7. In the corner of the Manor's Admin Office.
