The Performance mode for Alan Wake 2 on the PS5 Pro will run at 60 FPS and will include more visual detail than the base PS5, with overall image stability, volumetric lighting, fog, and shadow accuracy being improved on the updated console. According to a developer at Remedy, the PS5 Pro upgrades in Alan Wake 2 are a "pleasant surprise," with the studio able to improve the title's image quality more than they initially thought possible.
