Raids in Elden Ring Nightreign are boss encounters that can occur during the first or second day of an expedition. Every raid acts as a World Event and is different from one another. The base game only has four raids, but with the addition of the Forsaken Hollows DLC, three new raids can now trigger. The guide below offers information on all the newly added raids, how to complete them, and the powers players will get in Elden Ring Nightreign.
All Returning Dark Souls Bosses In Elden Ring Nightreign
There are six Dark Souls bosses in Elden Ring Nightreign from all three Souls games, including the Nameless King and the Gaping Dragon.
All DLC Raids in Elden Ring Nightreign
Caligo Raid
The Caligo raid starts with the dragon covering the entire map in a thick fog, making it hard to see. On top of this, Caligo will also shoot ice crystals all over the map, which damages you and inflicts frostbite buildup. This can be a very annoying raid, so it must be dealt with as quickly as possible.
When the raid initiates, you can immediately open your map to spot a large red radius on the map where Caligo could be. Make your way there to find the dragon sleeping, and a few hits should make it fly away, completing the raid and giving you the following power:
- Cold Mirage: Conceals oneself when faced with threats to life, neutralizing all attacks.
Gladius (Tricephalos) Raid
The Tricephalos raid is one of the more annoying raids in the game. When the raid begins, three Sundered Tricephalos will spawn in different locations. Your objective is to find all of them in the red areas marked on the map and deal with them. They are not that strong but are accompanied by smaller Tricephalos enemies. On top of this, you and your allies will also take fire damage throughout the course of the raid, which damages you for a small percentage of your health every second.
The annoying part of this raid is how far apart they can spawn, ruining your optimized run at times. Exploring and making sure you do not fall off the map on the Great Hollow can be tough as it is, so having the Tricephalos raid on that map as well does not help. If you are playing on Trios while communicating with the other teammates, you can assign one player to each Sundered Tricephalos, but they can be difficult to handle early on, especially with the little enemies around them. The power you get by completing this raid is:
- Beast's Hunt: Successive attacks restore stamina and hasten stamina recovery for self and nearby allies.
Balancers Raid
Finally, the last raid that has been added to the DLC is the Balancers raid, which is a fun one. All players will be teleported away as soon as the raid starts and will spawn in three different locations. These will either be Blacksmith Villages, where you can change weapon skill, or Encampments. Players will also lose some of their flasks, which will start restoring after every Balancer goes down.
Players will have to defeat a Balancer in these locations, who are always standing next to the boss of this location. This can be challenging since players will have to deal with the Balancers themselves and the area boss. However, t he Balancers do not have much HP and are quite easy to deal with, so you should focus on them first. Once all three of them are down, you will get back your Health Flasks and get the following power:
- Power to Balance the World: Rise from near-death unaided on occasion. Attack power increases after rising from near-death.
