There are 14 factions/guilds that players can join in Oblivion Remastered. Joining a guild will begin the faction's questline, which will help you understand the motivations of its members and further their interests. Completing these questlines will also reward some exclusive items that players won't find in any other missions in the game.

Here's a list of all the factions and guilds you can join in Oblivion Remastered.

Major	Dark Brotherhood	Sleeping after killing an innocent NPC, players will get a visit from Lucien Lachance.
	Mages Guild	Sign up at any of the seven Mage Guild halls located in Anvil, Chorrol, Cheydinhal, Bravil, Bruma, Leyawiin, and Skingrad.
	Fighters Guild	Sign up at any of the three Fighter Guild halls located in Anvil, Chorrol, and Cheydinhal.
	Thieves' Guild	Get caught for stealing and serve your time in prison. An NPC will approach players on release and hand a note, leading to the Thieves' Guild initiation at the Waterfront District of Imperial City.
	Arena	Speak to Owyn, the Blademaster in the Arena District of the Imperial City.
Minor	Knights of the Thorn	Complete the Wayward Knight quest.
	Knights of the White Stallion	Eliminate the bandit orc, Black Brugo.
	Mythic Dawn	During the Dragon Shrine quest.
	Court of Madness	Part of the Shivering Isles DLC.
	Knights of the Nine	Part of Knights of the Nine DLC.

	Order of the Virtuous Blood	Complete the Order of the Virtuous Blood quest.
