Unlike Prehistoric Plants, Tranquil plants aren’t a fixed set of crops you can grow and submit for rewards at the event shop in Grow a Garden. Instead, they’re just crops with the Tranquil mutation, and you’ll need them to complete both the Zen Event and the new Corrupted Event.
You can give these fruits to different Zen and Corrupted NPCs: Tanuki for Chi Points, the Monk to level up the Zen Tree and unlock more shop slots, Kitsuni for new pets and seeds, and even the Corrupted Channeller for Zen rewards, mutation sprays, and more. This guide will list both the available and unavailable crops you can turn into Tranquil, along with how exactly you get these variant fruits in Grow a Garden.

All Grow a Garden Tranquil Plants
New players can only get the Tranquil mutation on crops available in the 1.16.0 update, unless they have seeds from past events.

Grow a Garden: Best Crops Tier List
Grow a Garden has lots of seeds, but only some are truly worth planting. Here’s a simple tier list breaking down the best and the worst ones.
How to Get Tranquil Plants in Grow a Garden
To get Tranquil plants in Grow a Garden, you’ll need to wait for the Zen Event to kick off, which happens roughly every hour. During the event, some of the crops in your garden will get hit by the glowy Zen Aura.
It’s an automated process, so there’s not much you can manually do, unless you buy and place a Tranquil Pet Shard on a pet. That’ll let your critters apply the Tranquil mutation to plants as well. You can also drop a Tanchozuru and Kodama to do the same job.
Remember, if your Tranquil plants also have Gold or Rainbow variants, the amount of Chi you get from the Tanuki NPC will go up by 2 and 4 points, respectively.
Best Grow a Garden Tranquil Plants
The crops that give you the most Chi are Prismatics or Transcendents with the Tranquil variant. But not all of them are worth keeping in your garden during the event. Some, like Burning Bud, Ember Lily, and Giant Pinecone, only produce one or two flowers at a time, which means you’ll only get a few Tranquil Plants during the 10-minute Zen event round.
Compared to that, the best Tranquil plants in Grow a Garden are Bone Blossom, Sugar Apple, and Beanstalk. Their fruits take a bit of time to grow, but they yield a bunch at once (plus they're high tier ones). So, if you give their Tranquil variants to the Zen Shop merchant, he’ll reward you with more Chi every 60 minutes.
You can use Triceratops to speed up plant growth so more of your crops can gain the Tranquil mutation during the Zen event. Also, since T-Rex can copy the Tranquil mutation to three other fruits, using it is beneficial, preferably in your second garden using the save slots option.
