The Warframe Landing Crafts have a special Air Support ability that players can unlock. Air Support is a gear that lets Tenno call in support from their Landing Craft during missions. For instance, they can be used during Spy missions when players trigger alarms and need help hacking a system or acquiring codes before the timer runs out. Each Landing Craft has its own Air Support abilities, but they all provide unique support for players. Here are all seven Air Support charges in Warframe ranked.

7 Nightwave

Puts Enemies to Sleep

Nightwave is a device that, when deployed, puts enemies within a 10 m radius to sleep, allowing players to escape. Nightwave is one of the few Air Support charges in Warframe offering little value during missions.

Although players rarely use it, obtaining Nightwave grants access to various in-game mods, cosmetics, and resources. So, while the Air Support charge may not help much during missions, getting the Nightwave Radio Station opens players up to more daily and weekly challenges.

6 Scimitar

Deals 250 Impact Damage

Scimitar is a carpet bomb that, when deployed, deals 250 impact damage on enemies. This Air Support charge crashes all enemies on its path, ensuring players extract safely to their Landing Craft. Few players use Scimitar during missions since it doesn’t carry much value, especially for Tennos with a Mastery Rank and powerful weapons that annihilate opponents.

However, Scimitar can be useful in Defense missions, where players must defend an immobile target from waves of enemies. If a player is on a solo Defense mission, they can deploy Scimitar to help defeat overwhelming waves of foes and secure victory.

5 Xiphos

Extremely High Fire Rate

The Xiphos Air Support charge is a stationary Sentry Gun that, when deployed, fires at incoming and surrounding enemies. It’s quite useful for eliminating large waves of hostiles during solo or defense missions. Players can also use Xiphos to distract enemies while completing objectives, such as rescuing prisoners and extracting information.

The beauty of Xiphos is its extremely high fire rate that can oppress and overpower hordes of enemies. Xiphos has infinite ammo and will continue firing at enemies until a player or the foes destroy it with ammo. So, players don't have to worry about running dry during the heat of a battle.

4 Mantis

Heals Wounded Players

The Mantis Air Support charge is a gear that, when activated, heals Tenno for 100 health. Players in Warframe can respawn 5 times, and it normally takes an incredible amount of damage to deal damage to a player. However, in some cases, Tenno may need to increase their max health to complete a mission or objective, which is where Mantis comes in handy. This Med Tower can be activated 25 times during a single deployment, giving players more than enough chances to survive as long as needed.

The Mantis Air Support charge also doubles as a wall, preventing attacks from enemies, other Tennos, and gunfire. Players can stand beside the tower to protect themselves from incoming enemies and foes gearing up for an attack.

3 Liset

Overrides Security and Disables Alarms

The default Landing Craft in Warframe is Liset, and its Air Support charge is to override security. Players in Spy and Rescue missions with countdowns can use the Liset Air Support charge to reset alarms and disable lockdowns and security cameras. The Liset Air Support also pauses any timers active in a mission, giving Tenno enough time to complete the objective and head to extraction safely.

Players who want to buy an extra few seconds and take down enemies during a mission will find this Air Support crucial to completing a mission. The charge can only be deployed once during a mission, so it's crucial to use it when needed most.

When deployed, the Air Support activates the Kahl Beacon that calls in Kahl and his 2 brothers - Corpus Tech and Tusk Hellions to defend against enemies. Kahl and his allies will help players for five minutes before departing, which is enough time to defend an objective in Warframe.

If other players deploy additional Air Support when Kahl is active, health increases.
