Prime Gaming Giving Away 28 Games in September 2024
The service is now one-upping itself by giving away 28 games throughout September 2024. Ten of those can already be claimed right now, with that list including the Game of the Year Edition of the highest-rated Lord of the Rings game of all time, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel are also part of the September 5 batch of freebies, as are Eternights, GreedFall, LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures, Minabo: A Walk Through Life, and Whispered Secrets. LOTR fans with an Amazon Prime membership can also jump into LEGO The Lord of the Rings at no additional cost starting today.

Another eight freebies will be offered to Prime Gaming members on September 12, with this batch including no fewer than two golf-themed indie roguelikes in the form of Cursed to Golf and Golfie. Tales from the Borderlands, Arcadegeddon, and 9 Years of Shadows will also be part of next week's offerings, together with Hell Pie, Moonlighter, and Showgunners.
Five more titles will then become available to claim on September 19, including CD Projekt Red's Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, which has been widely touted as a must-play for Gwent lovers ever since its late 2018 release. This group also includes another blocky LOTR experience in the form of LEGO The Hobbit, as well as Wired Productions' majestic bird game The Falconeer. The ever-addicting Kerbal Space Program and kid-friendly I Love Finding Cats and Pups round off the September 19 batch of Prime Gaming freebies.
Amazon Prime members will be able to claim another five games starting from the final Thursday of the month, which falls on September 26. This batch includes the 2022 sci-fi action platformer Ghost Song and picturesque fantasy platformer Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. Ditto for the Collector's Edition of the 2019 HOPA Mystery Case Files: Black Crown and hand-drawn arcade game Ynglet. Prime Gaming will also start giving away the MMORPG Black Desert from that date, although this particular freebie will only be available in select regions.
