Amazon Prime Gaming is no more, as Amazon has merged the now-retired brand with its Luna game-streaming service. While free games will still be added for Amazon Prime subscribers with a connected Twitch account to enjoy, the upgraded Amazon Luna will also offer Prime members new GameNight selections and continued access to games available on Luna Standard.
The move was finalized weeks after Amazon confirmed that Prime Gaming as a brand would be retired. However, Amazon stressed that Prime subscribers would still have access to the same benefits through Twitch as before, including a monthly tier one subscription that can be used to support one content creator per month, along with exclusive emotes and chat colors. Prime Gaming also gave users a rotating selection of PC titles to redeem on storefronts like GOG and Epic Games Store, ranging from indie games to major classics. Some of Prime Gaming's current offers include Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition and XCOM 2.

Twitch shares an official statement about a recent incident at TwitchCon 2025 involving popular stream Emiru being assaulted by an overzealous fan.
While the PC games offered by Prime Gaming will remain in place, the new Amazon Luna will offer more perks for Prime users to consider. As part of Amazon Prime's $14.99 monthly subscription, users now have access to the upgraded Amazon Luna, which comes with a rotation of games that can be streamed on a supported device like a desktop browser or an Amazon Fire TV device. Amazon Luna is split into two subscription tiers, called Standard and Premium. Luna Standard comes with Amazon Prime at no additional cost, while Luna Premium costs an additional $9.99 per month. Some of the currently available games to stream on Amazon Luna Standard include Hogwarts Legacy, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and F ortnite. Amazon Luna recommends a consistent Internet connection of at least 10 Mbps.

Along with Amazon Luna's streaming offers, a new GameNight selection is now included with Luna Standard. GameNight consists of multiplayer party games that allow players to use their phones as controllers and include several titles to pick from. Several minigames from the Jackbox Party Packs, including Fibbage XL and Quiplash 2 InterLASHional, are available to stream on Amazon Luna's GameNight. Amazon Game Studios will periodically offer GameNight exclusive titles, starting with an AI-powered comedy game called Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg.
While streaming these games depends on Amazon Web Services being active, the upgraded Amazon Luna will feature various games for players to peruse. It remains to be seen how Amazon Luna will evolve.
