The news of the leak arrived at a busy time for the tech giant. In April, AMD announced the Ryzen Pro 8000 series, a line of mobile CPUs designed for AI-enhanced laptops and workstations to run various AI applications. The Ryzen Pro and Ryzen AI Pro 8000 processors are part of the Zen 4 generation, with one of their main features being low total power draw (TDP). According to AMD, the Ryzen 7 Pro 8700G processor has a TDP of up to 65W, which matches the draw in AMD CPUs like the Ryzen 5 7600X. According to the alleged results, the Ryzen 9 9950x will have a maximum peak frequency of 5.85 GHz, which matches the current Ryzen 9 7950X. Both processors have a 170W TDP and can be clocked to 200W when AMD's Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) setting is active.
