Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Nature Day event has brought a number of special Nook Miles+ activities for players to complete, and they pay out big. One such Nature Day Nook Miles+ activity asks players to decorate with flowers in ACNH, and the meaning of this task may not be immediately obvious to all fans. Fortunately, with just a bit of instruction it is quite easy to decorate with flowers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and claim these Nook Miles.
There are several ways to complete Animal Crossing: New Horzions' Decorate with Flowers activity, and they all begin with picking some. To do this, fans should simply find a flower that is in bloom and press Y when nearby to pick it. To note, this is not the same as using a shovel to extract an entire plant, and players trying to decorate with flowers in ACNH should make sure that they are just removing the blossom and leaving the stem in the ground.
Once a player has a flower in their pockets, they can then proceed to decorate with it. A very easy way to do this is simply to go into pockets, select the picked flower, and then choose "Place Item." This can be done in an interior or exterior, on a piece of furniture or on the floor, and it will result in flower in a vase being placed. Indeed, this is all that it takes to progress ACNH's Decorate with Flowers activity, and fans should repeat these steps until they earn their Nook Miles.
Alternatively, Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans can complete Decorate With Flowers by crafting flower furniture, such as flower wreaths, and then placing these pieces around their islands. While this is certainly more time consuming than the previous method, it is a fine way to approach the activity if a player is already interested in creating some flower-based DIYs.
To note, Decorate with Flowers is not the only Nature Day activity that requires players to pick flowers, and fans will need to craft flower crowns, mail flowers, and more if they want to maximize their Nook Miles. As such, players should make sure that they have a steady stream of blooming flowers available to them for the next handful of days.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
