In Anno 117: Pax Romana, players' empire will start relatively small, which is why they must build more houses, attract residents, and meet their needs. Their city will grow and its status will increase. At some point, players will come to the conclusion that they don't have access to all of the resources that they need on their main island, forcing them to trade or settle elsewhere.

How To Enter First Person Mode In Anno 117 Pax Romana

Players can explore the city they built by entering the third or first person mode in Anno 117: Pax Romana.

This guide will show players how they can settle on other islands and obtain more cities in Anno 117: Pax Romana. Players will find themselves looking towards the horizon pretty early on in the game.

How to Settle On Other Islands in Anno 117: Pax Romana

Players' first city will be extremely important, as it'll be foundation to their empire. However, they shouldn't limit themselves to this land. In Anno 117: Pax Romana, gamers will want to explore the open seas and scout other islands where they could potentially settle. There, they will have the opportunity to collect different resources and even worship other deities.

To settle on other islands in Sandbox mode, players simply have to move one of their boats onto unsettled land and purchase a trading post on it. As soon as their boat approaches the island, the blueprint of a trading post will appear, and they can click on it to see how much it costs to build it.

The bigger the island, the more land tax players will have to pay per minute and the more they'll have to pay to build a trading post on it. They must select the Build Trading Post button to confirm their decision and settle a new city on the island.

Should You Settle on Cudslip or Cragmore?

In Sandbox mode, players will be able to settle on other islands and create more cities right away. However, in Story Mode, they must first complete Act III. In Act IV, they will be shown how to settle somewhere else and will be able to freely colonize more islands. Here, they will have to choose between settling on Cudslip or Cragmore.

The islands provide different resources, and it is up to the player to decide which ones they value the most. Here are the resources avaialble on Cudslip and Cragmore:
