Just as season four of Apex Legends is winding down, more exciting events have been announced by design director, Jason McCord. Even though the Bloodhound event has run its course, much of the content is still in the game. The Bloodhound event was expected to be the last one of season four, yet another one is scheduled to start on April 28th.
The event will add a new game mode called Battle Armor, in which players are dropped into the map with armor already equipped an none available as loot. The game mode will change armor level every four days starting with basic white armor. May 2nd marks the start of only blue armor, and May 6th will make purple armor the equipped set. May 9th will revert to only the fairly new Evo armor, which evolves based on damage output.
Evo armor was very popular when it was introduced in the System Override Event and players have enjoyed it ever since. The new event will bring some attention to the armor and possibly set up different armor features for season five.
Players may be overwhelmed by all of the fast paced changes and improvements to Apex Legends as it prepares for a giant season five. Map changes, secrets, and Easter eggs have all been found that indicate many changes for season five and even tease some Titanfall content. The Battle Armor event will give players a last chance to level up the battle pass as Apex Legends heads to season five.
Apex Legends is free-to-play on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
