How To Add Friends In Apex Legends
First things first, Apex Legends is cross-platform, which means players using different platforms can play together in the same matches. However, players using consoles will automatically be grouped together, while PC players will exclusively compete against other PC players in the match. Although console players can still play with their friends on PC, they will be placed in the same matchmaking pool as players on PC. And yes, cross-platform is enabled by default, and players can disable it whenever they want.
To add friends in Apex Legends, players can follow these simple steps:
- Click the ‘Friends’ icon in the bottom right corner.
- Here, players will be able to see their in-game friends.
- Players can also search for a player by their in-game name. For this purpose, head over to the bottom left side of the screen and click ‘Find Friend.’
- Next, enter the player’s in-game name in the box, click ‘Search,’ and then ‘Send Friend Request.’ Once done, players will see a confirmation message, and the other player will get a notification.
