ARC Raiders has quite literally 100s of different items for players to find throughout their raids, ranging from weapons to crafting materials to rubber ducks. There are obviously different rarities, and certain items carry more value than others, but some of the important and best things to find are blueprints. For one, they are pretty hard to come by, being found sparingly around the maps and mainly only in the higher-tiered loot areas, if at all. It is quite common to go several runs and not find a single one, so when players finally manage to get their hands on one, it can often feel better than finding even certain legendary items. There's a long list of blueprints to find, some for guns, others for utility, but it is very clear that a few of them are better than the others.
ARC Raiders Player Gets Tired of PvP and Joins Forces with the ARCs
Tired and disillusioned with being part of PvP lobbies, an ARC Raiders player decides to mix things up by joining the mechanical ARC enemies.
Gaining access to a powerful weapon by just throwing together a few scraps can completely change how the game is played, as suddenly, players don't need to shell out all their hard-earned cash or luck out in a run. In the same way, being able to craft important material that would otherwise be fairly hard to get can mean that the player's loadouts become a whole lot more competitive, both in terms of firepower and survivability. As it turns out, though, some of the most reliable blueprints are the ones that players take for granted. It may feel pretty generic compared to the Harvester rewards, but these recipes are still vital to the player's success Topside, and their overall chances of making it back alive.
Gun Parts
Maxing Out All Those Guns
Details:
- Used in upgrading and repairing weapons
- Crafting weapons that would otherwise need to be bought or found
Crafting weapons is easily the most efficient and reliable method for getting geared up, as rather than needing to fight other players over them or purchase them for an extortionate price, they can instead be built out of basically nothing. All players need for the majority of the guns in the game are some mechanical components and gun parts of some sort, but that's where the trouble starts, as without the blueprints, none of the materials can actually be crafted. This can be quite a problem, as even if players manage to find an Aphelion blueprint or even a lower-tier weapon, they might not have enough complex gun parts to actually make one, completely blocking them from accessing the coolest guns in the game.
All the major gun parts from Light to Complex have their own separate blueprints that players need to find, as without them, the only way of accessing them is either by getting lucky Topside, or by buying them off Celeste, which isn't exactly a great method, as her inventories for the parts are limited to three or fewer. Also, each blueprint is about as useful as the last because not only are the parts needed to craft weapons, they are also used in the upgrade recipes and even to repair them, hence why they are so important to have.
Extended Mags
No One Says No To Extra Bullets
Details:
- Consistent attachment for any gun
- Easily win many PvP fights with it alone
Attachments are the backbone of any good weapon loadout, as just a few low-level ones can completely transform a weapon from useless into PvP viable. The majority of the attachments are related to weapon accuracy and recoil, with a few exceptions, but arguably the most important attachment to have on basically any weapon is an extended mag. Having more ammo in a single clip greatly improves the player's overall power level, transforming weapons like the Kettle into a devastating killing machine that can tear through multiple players without even needing a reload.

If you want to improve your skills in ARC Raiders, be sure to have a look at these habits every skilled PVP player has.
There are multiple blueprints for magazines in the game, and while some are quite a bit better than others, it is always nice to have a few extra bullets for when things go down to the wire. The other aspect to think about is how difficult it can be to acquire attachments like extended mag in the other parts of the game, as it can be pretty tricky to randomly find the right ones during a raid. Tian Wen does sell the tier one variants of the magazines, but when players get a taste of the larger size of the crafted ones, they will never look back.
Vita Shot/Spray
Forget Those Bandages
Details:
- Best healing options in the game
- Cheap to craft
When going into a raid, players need to think about what they need to bring with them, as aside from a small selection of field-crafted items, there is no guarantee of what loot they will find. The checklist normally starts with the augment and shield, then the weapons and ammo, and finally any additional utility items that they may find useful, like grenades. Right at the bottom of the barrel are the healing supplies, and a lot of players are still jumping in with basic or herbal bandages, which are beyond slow and barely recover enough health to keep players going.
That's why having vitashots or sprays around is so important, as they allow the player to basically refill their entire health pool in an instant, without having to wait around behind cover for an eternity. Normally, having a large stock of them is pretty hard to have, but with the blueprint unlocked, players will be able to craft several stacks and have a much better chance of surviving certain encounters that they would otherwise have died in if they had just brought along some scraps of fabric.
Anvil
Taking Out Everything In Sight
Details:
- Insane damage output against Arcs and players
- Insanely cheap to craft rather than buy
There is a pretty good selection of weapons in ARC Raiders, many of which are pretty damn powerful despite being in the lower rarities. Each one has its own strengths and weaknesses, with some being good at killing Arcs and others for players, but if there is one gun that manages to outshine virtually everything else, it has to be the Anvil. This beefy pistol is capable of taking out basically any target in just a few shots, with very little downtime in between, making it one of the most consistent and viable choices when heading into a run.
ARC Raiders: 5 Abilities You Should Never Upgrade First (Huge Waste of Points)
Your points are precious in ARC Raiders, so avoid prioritizing these abilities that grant comparatively weaker boons.
Ordinarily, players can only access it by finding one or buying it for a steep price, but with the blueprint unlocked, they can take an Anvil into virtually every single run. A lot of people forget how nice it is to be able to just craft one out of nothing, and after a while, they will likely take the blueprint for granted. However, without it, many players will still be stuck running around with mediocre guns that just don't feel as good until they manage to get lucky and find another pistol to take care of.
Mk. 3 Augments
Pushing Through The Punishment
Details:
- More loot slots and survivability
- Access to better shields and utility
One of the most interesting parts about ARC Raiders is how the game handles shields and backpacks. No matter how many hours players have, they will always be put into a map full of players with a fairly similar set of gear, as even with a full pink inventory, they can still easily die to a free loadout. With that said, the higher-tier augments are still well worth going for, as the extra survivability can easily allow the player to make it out of a few tricky fights, and the extra loot slots are certainly well worth the investment.
Having the Mk. 3 blueprints are so nice, as they make the player feel just a bit stronger in a specific area of their choosing. If they enjoy the PvP, then the third combat augments are the perfect way of leaning into that playstyle, or if they prefer a more passive looting approach, then having a huge inventory will make each raid significantly more profitable for the player. The maxed-out augments also have some way cooler effects that players just wouldn't have access to otherwise, with each giving them a small edge Topside that can be the difference between a successful extraction and a failed one.
