The ARC Raiders community is calling upon developer Embark Studios to release an urgent fix as players quickly discover a method to once again duplicate items, blueprints, and more. Although a recent update to ARC Raiders supposedly addressed this issue, as the patch notes state that update 1.12.0 fixes exploits for item and ammo duplication, it looks like the community has either found a new way to exploit the duplication glitch, or the patch didn't fix anything at all. Regardless, players want to see it fixed as soon as possible.

While ARC Raiders has been hugely successful for Embark, maintaining a huge active player base on Steam, winning Best Multiplayer Game at the 2025 Game Awards, and selling over 12 million copies in just a few months, it hasn't been without its issues. Post-launch support for the extraction shooter has been hit-and-miss, with additions such as Stella Montis being a huge hit with players. However, the map was also filled with numerous glitches that players could exploit, allowing them to go out of bounds and kill opponents while remaining completely untouchable. As this exploit persisted for weeks, it took Embark multiple hotfixes to address. Now it looks like it has another similar issue on its hands, as a duplication exploit continues to rear its head despite numerous updates.

ARC Raiders Players Are Still Finding Ways to Duplicate Items

Last week, Embark Studios released the 1.12.0 update for ARC Raiders. While it didn't include any new content, it did include some important bug fixes, one of which fixed an exploit that allowed players to duplicate items and ammo. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have done the trick, as the community is calling on Embark to once again fix the severe issue. In a new post on Reddit, one user has found evidence of a new Blueprint duplication glitch, showing a screenshot of a user with 17 Tempest Blueprints. "It seems like more people are starting to exploit this. If this becomes common, it's going to ruin the experience for everyone," the user said, before calling on the developers to fix the exploit before "the whole meta gets ruined by duped gear."

It doesn't appear to be just Blueprints that players are duplicating, either, as a separate post from Twitter user Rooster highlights how one player duplicated one of the rarest Rubber Duck variants in the game. These new variations of the beloved Rubber Duck were added to the game as part of ARC Raiders' Headwinds update this week, which saw the addition of a new Bird City map modifier. The map event also includes a ton of new Rubber Ducks, with the Familiar Rubber Duck being worth $7,000 Coins each, meaning players can sell a whole inventory worth millions.

At the time of writing this article, Embark has yet to release a statement or acknowledge the duplication glitch. However, the studio has been fast-acting with other problems in the game recently. The new Headwinds update made some unintended changes to some fan-favorite ARC Raiders weapons, such as the Kettle and Venator, but Embark reverted these adjustments just 24 hours later with a new hotfix. While it may take a little longer to address the most recent duplication glitch, there's hope that the studio is already aware of the exploit and working on a fix.

Exploits aside, the game's most recent update seems to have been a disappointment for much of the ARC Raiders community. Not only are the majority of players unable to play the new Bird City map modifier due to the inconvenient timing of the event, but fans were also left questioning who exactly asked for the new 1v3 matchmaking option that Embark added to the game. Players have been calling for high-value raids for quite some time now, so the addition of a new mode that nobody asked for left everybody scratching their heads.
