Electromagnetic Storm Raging in ARC Raiders

The Electromagnetic Storms event is a map condition that's available for Dam Battlegrounds, Blue Gate, and Spaceport in ARC Raiders. It's active periodically throughout the day, allowing players to experience a high-stakes match with the looming threat of a thunderbolt striking them and ending a run pre-maturely.

Here's everything you need to know about the Electromagnetic Storms event in ARC Raiders.

Lightening Bolts: Players have a chance to get hit by one of the lightening bolts that strike the ground in the open. Getting hit by lightening will completely deplete your shield, and take ~20% durability off it.
Limited Extraction Routes: There are only two extraction points available during an Electromagnetic Storms event. On top of that, all Raider Hatches are completely disabled, which makes getting out alive a lot trickier.
Increased ARC Difficulty: Since the difficulty rating is high for the event, you can expect a high number of ARC machines patrolling areas, and they'll be able to spot you just as easily.

While this mode sounds terrifying to play in, it's not all doom and gloom as your risk will be rewarded in many ways. Here are some of the reasons why you should play the Electromagnetic Storms event.

Increased Loot Quality: Players have an increased chance of finding better, high-value loot from even regular containers. Even the Security Breach lockers, which were nerfed recently, give multiple epic-rarity items and weapons while the Electromagnetic Storms event is active.
Increased Blueprint Drop Chances: It's not confirmed by developers, but several players in the community have reported that the Electromagnetic Storms event has increased the chances of Blueprint drops, especially for weapon attachments. I've personally experienced this in 10–12 runs myself, so this speculation has some credibility.
Double Trial Points: If you're trying to climb the trial leaderboards, playing ARC Raiders during the Electromagnetic Storms will help you complete challenges quicker by allowing you to receive double the points.
