How To Get A Dog Collar in ARC Raiders

Dog Collars are tagged as items found in Residential areas, which makes tracking one down a little easier. With that said, the item is considered to be rare, so there is no guarantee that you'll be able to get one every run. To increase your chances, loot as many shelves and drawers as possible in Residential buildings and those that surround them.

To give yourself a better chance, you can also try a Night Raid. These are more challenging runs, but they have a higher frequency of rare loot. So, provided you are stocked up on supplies, shields, and ammunition, it is worth trying a Night Raid to get your hands on a Dog Collar.

Dog Collar Locations in ARC Raiders

Given Dog Collars are Residential items, it would make sense for players to search for them in areas with Residential tags on them. You won't find any of these in the initial Dam Battlegrounds map, but there are a few buildings where Dog Collars are most commonly found.

To give yourself the best chance of grabbing a Dog Collar in a hurry, check out these locations and the buildings that surround them:

Additionally, you may also find a Dog Collar in any area with high-value loot. For example, we encountered them on more than one occasion in the Research & Administration building in the Dam Battlegrounds.

What Is A Dog Collar Used For in ARC Raiders?

Dog Collars in ARC Raiders will generally play one central role in the game, which is increasing the training level of the ever-resourceful rooster, Scrappy. Players will need to acquire a Dog Collar to train Scrappy to level two, which will in turn increase your rewards back at the base each time you complete a run. Aside from that, being a rare item means Dog Collars are reasonably valuable, so they're great to sell for currency, which you can use towards purchasing items, weapons, and upgrades.

Once players have looted a Dog Collar and been safely extracted, they can train Scrappy to the next level by navigating to the Workshop. Once there, select the quirky rooster, then hit Train to use the item to increase his proficiency.
