ARC Raiders is a challenging extraction shooter, and with all the parts, components, items, and resources to farm, it gets really complicated to pinpoint what players need to progress and enhance their gear.

Rusted Tools are required for a lot of these upgrades, from workbenches to weapons, so getting a steady supply is critical. This guide contains helpful information to direct players to the best farming spots for Rusted Tools, and what they can do with them.

How To Find Rusted Tools in ARC Raiders

Since the loot in ARC Raiders is a bit tricky to pinpoint, and players need tons of materials to upgrade their Weapons and Gear, it is important to know two things beforehand. One is the type of Item players need to farm, which is labeled as Mechanical, Topside Material, Advanced Material, etc.

In the case of the Rusted Tools, it is a Recyclable Mechanical, so players might have already found some of them and broken them into lesser components. This Blue Quality resource is needed to upgrade the Gunsmith, so players will need at least 3 of them, for starters.

Here are the most likely locations where this Item Drops:

  • The Scrapyard (The Dam Battlegrounds): Most likely place to get Rusted Tools in the Dam map.

  • Fuel Control (Spaceport): Lesser Risk than Vehicle Maintenance, but also less loot.

Players should remember to keep the items they don't want to lose inside their Safe Pocket, so even if they are ambushed on their way back from looting, they will be able to preserve at least the Rusted Tools they worked so hard to get.
