The Weapon Workbench will be the players' best friend throughout their journey in ARC Raiders. This crafting bench is essential to develop weapons and boost their stats, as well as crafting higher-quality weapons and accessories that increase their efficiency.
But if players want to enhance their Weapons in ARC Raiders, they will need lots of mats and the right tools to level up the Gunsmith. This guide will teach them how to enhance weapons and unlock more valuable crafting recipes for accessories, weapons, and combat gear.
How To Unlock Weapon Workbench in ARC Raiders
The Weapon Workbench, also known as Gunsmith can be unlocked as soon as players complete the Introductory Quests in ARC Raiders, and by going into their Workshop and selecting Install in one of the Tabs below (next to Scrappy) and they will need the following mats to install it:
- Metal Parts x20
- Rubber Parts x20
Metal Parts can be obtained by Scavenging or Recycling metal objects and ARC Tech, while Rubber Parts are generally obtained by disassembling Chemical Containers and abandoned gear like Ruined Parachutes, Destroyed Vests, etc.
How To Upgrade Weapons in ARC Raiders
Once the Gunsmith is installed, players will enter its tab (or click on the crafting table while inside the Workshop) and notice it marks it as 'Level 1.' This means players can later upgrade this Workbench. Inside, players will find several recipes in the Crafting Tab, and also two more tabs: Weapon Upgrade and Level Up.
Players need to click on Weapon Upgrade,then select any of the guns in their Inventory. Weapons deposited in the Stash will automatically be included in the upgrade menu.
Now, with a Weapon selected, move to the window on the right side of the screen, and select 'Upgrade.' This will take the weapon from Level 0 to 1, from 1 to 2, and so on. Each time, players will need to invest a series of mats indicated below the Upgrade Button.
This will increase the weapons' stats like reload speed, magazine size, damage, and durability, and it's a highly effective method to obtain powerful gear early on without investing too many mats.
Higher Quality Weapons (Green, Blue, Purple, Yellow) require materials of the same quality to be upgraded, so players should carefully consider investing in mats and do it only when they are experts at surviving in ARC Raiders.
