ARC Raiders is Currently Down

ARC Raiders servers appear to be back online. Some players are still facing lengthy queues, likely due to many trying to get in-game at once. Original story follows.

Numerous reports from ARC Raiders players indicate that the game is currently down. The reports began emerging around 6 pm PT on November 19, and as of publication time, ARC Raiders players are still reporting issues getting into the game.

ARC Raiders has been doing quite well in terms of player popularity, with even the ARC Raiders server slam seeing a major turnout to play. However, despite the efforts to ensure that players can connect to the game seamlessly following those tests, there have been server issues with the game.

ARC Raiders Players Report The Game is Down

Starting at 6 pm PT/9 pm ET, players began pouring into social media to report that ARC Raiders was down. Fans have reported that they seem to be stuck in the queue that isn't moving. In addition to social media reports, DownDetector indicates that there have been tens of thousands of reports showing that there is currently an issue with the game. Players have also reported getting an error message labeled ARSB0003, which usually means that online services are unavailable. For the moment, players are stuck waiting for a solution from the game's developer, Embark Studios. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time in recent history that ARC Raiders players have had difficulties getting into the game. Players reported server issues with ARC Raiders on November 2 and November 14 on social media, as well. Some have hypothesized that this current outage could be due to a hotfix being applied, but so far, the developers haven't shared any updates or information about the downtime.

Although the downtime is unfortunate, especially since it's happening during the evening hours when many gamers are at home and want to hop in, it's likely that these are the game's early growing pains. Many games struggle with server issues early on . For example, Battlefield 6 had long queues to get into the game when it first launched. As player counts stabilize, it's likely that the game will see fewer issues with unexpected server outages.

Aside from server issues, ARC Raiders has already seen plenty of success. In addition to high player counts, the game has received excellent review scores, and even got a nomination for Best Multiplayer Game at The Game Awards 2025, even though it came out just weeks before the nominations were announced. With some luck, these server issues will be behind the game soon, and players can focus on elements like the new popular map Stella Montis, which was unlocked by the community in less than 24 hours.
