Embark Studios has begun rolling out a new update for ARC Raiders on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, bringing the new extraction shooter to version 1.1.0 with some fresh bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. ARC Raiders has been a huge success for The Finals developer Embark, but, as is the case with most live-service titles, various bugs and glitches have hindered the player experience. Thankfully, Embark is ensuring ARC Raiders remains smooth and enjoyable with continued updates.
Although there may not be any new content in today's update, Embark Studios has unveiled an extensive 2025 roadmap for ARC Raiders. With plans to support the shooter for at least the next ten years, Embark is kicking off its first few months with plenty of content for players to jump into. As part of a new 'North Line' update planned for this month, players will be able to check out a new map, event, ARC enemies, gameplay items, and quests. A second update will then arrive in December, known as 'Cold Snap', featuring a new snowfall map condition, quests, and much more.
Arc Raiders Is Restoring My Faith in the Gaming Community
Arc Raiders might be built around tension and risk, but what it’s really shown me is that even in PvP, not everyone is out to ruin your fun.
ARC Raiders Deploys Update 1.1.0
Before Embark begins releasing new content updates, the studio is ensuring that all players are having a smooth gameplay experience. After ARC Raiders experienced some server issues last week, Embark rolled out the game's first hotfix with some improvements. Now, just one week later, players have yet another update to download, as the game's 1.1.0 patch is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. According to the patch notes, which can be found further down this article, there are plenty of bug fixes and new quality-of-life improvements for fans to check out.
While not live just yet, the patch notes do confirm that new map conditions will be released on Saturday, November 8. Hidden Bunker and Electromagnetic Storm will seemingly be available across all four maps, while ARC Raiders' Blue Gate map will soon have a new Night Raid available. As for the other changes included in update 1.1.0, Embark says it has added a charge progress for Integrated Shield repair, made adjustments to barricades so they can no longer be placed near zipline exit points, and added the Punch Hands emote to the game, which is an exclusive pre-order bonus.
Those who attempted to log in to Embark's new extraction shooter during the recent server outage, which occurred on Sunday, November 2, have been rewarded for the inconvenience. The studio issued a statement shortly after the outage, revealing that ARC Raiders players who were affected by the downtime will receive 500 Tokens. The additional currency should be available in-game right now, but only to those who attempted to login during the server outage over the weekend.
