ARC Raiders' North Line update launches November 13, Embark Studios has confirmed. The release date announcement was shared alongside new information about the upcoming content drop, which will mark ARC Raiders' first major update.

The North Line patch will coincide with the two-week anniversary of Embark's extraction shooter hitting the market. For a while now, the Nexon subsidiary has been open about wanting ARC Raiders to diverge from typical live-service content roadmaps by ditching seasons in favor of a more flexible release cadence. Nevertheless, the game is still planned to receive several major updates before the end of 2025.

ARC Raiders Players Will Need to Unlock North Line's New Map

Embark has now revealed the release date for ARC Raiders' first major update: November 13. Called North Line, the content drop will materialize at 1:30am PT / 4:30am ET / 10:30am CET. Headlining the upcoming release is a new ARC Raiders map, Stella Montis. It is a region situated north of the Rust Belt, where players will be able to tackle new quests and learn more about the game's post-apocalyptic lore. Preceding the map unlock, a global event called Breaking New Ground will take place. It will task players with pooling resources to restore tunnels leading to Stella Montis. The event will feature multiple milestones, each offering unique rewards and challenges, all aimed at making the map's debut a memorable moment for the community.

North Line will introduce two new ARC threats: the Matriarch, which appears under specific map conditions, and the Shredder, which only surfaces once Stella Montis opens. New ARC Raiders weapons and items will also be part of the package, with the arrivals including the Energy Burst Battle Rifle and multiple types of mines. Once the community unlocks the North Line map, a variety of new missions will open up. However, Embark is keeping their details close to the chest for now, having so far only said that the upcoming questlines will be themed around the game's icy new region.

North Line will mark the official start of the ARC Raiders 2025 content roadmap. It will set the stage for a thematically similar update called Cold Snap, which will introduce a new snowfall Map Condition and the Flickering Flames event, on top of resetting the Expedition cycle, among other changes. Cold Snap is currently planned for December.
