One Arc Raiders player shows off how they managed to survive for 15 minutes after being downed, essentially crawling across the map and extracting with their loot intact. Arc Raiders has been a massive success for Embark Studios, a fact which likely isn't too surprising considering how popular the technical tests became over the summer months.

Still, part of the unique experience of Arc Raiders is how dynamic its world can be, as players go against others as well as enemy AI. While Arc Raiders continues to knock down records, its player base continues to figure out new ways to experience the game, ensuring each run topside is unique and memorable. Sometimes, though, players may need a little more than just luck to help extract all of the loot they've acquired during a run, such as this one user who was able to survive for over 15 minutes while in a downed state.

Arc Raiders responds to recent player feedback by introducing a new game mode and changing cosmetic prices in Embark Studios' extraction shooter.

Arc Raiders Discover the Power of the MK3 Augment

In a new post on the Arc Raiders subreddit, a user named bior12 posted a time-lapsed video of a character crawling to an extraction. As players have long since discovered, Arc Raiders allows downed players to extract, giving them one last opportunity to escape with their loot. However, what made this different is that the character was able to survive for over 15 minutes, essentially crawling across the Buried City map to an extraction point in the subway. Not being picked off by an ARC enemy or another player seeing an easy win is another feat.

The video prompted a lot of surprised reactions, but the key component for doing this was the equipped Looting MK3 Augment, which can be crafted at a Level 3 Gear Bench in Arc Raiders. When equipped, it allows players to regenerate up to 75% of their maximum downed health when stationary. The clip highlights this at a few points, as the player uses cover or bushes to hide while regenerating downed health in order to continue crawling. Some, in the comments, provided additional insight, indicating there are even stronger versions of this in the game, like a Tactical MK3 that also provides a passive shield charger ability while running.

In addition to specific builds, players have also been experimenting with the various ARC enemies populating the maps. During the Harvester Event, players have a chance to go up against the gigantic machine known as The Queen, intended to be a very challenging but rewarding fight. Shockingly, Arc Raiders players have found an easy way to deal with the Queen, likely indicating that a patch could be coming sooner or later as it doesn't seem to be intended gameplay.
