Arc Raiders may be a PvPvE game, but it does an excellent job of balancing its PvP component with PvE by making its enemy AI daunting to the point of being frustratingly annoying at times. While there are plenty of ARC machines that can give players a run for their money — from Leapers to an army of Pops — the ultimate endgame boss is none other than the Queen. Only seen guarding the Harvester during the Harvester Event, the Queen is a colossal giant of a machine, and taking it down is considered one of the greatest achievements in Arc Raiders.

The only thing is, actually accomplishing such a feat can feel impossible to players without the right equipment or team to do the job. Since launch, dedicated Arc Raiders squads have even reported needing to team up with other groups in order to take down the Queen, if that's any testament to its ferocity. Plus, if trying to eliminate and loot a Queen wasn't already enough in the dangerous world of Arc Raiders, attempting to do so with the threat of other ARC and even hostile players in the vicinity only exacerbates the situation. Fortunately, players have discovered a unique exploit for taking down the Queen in Arc Raiders, but like most exploits, it likely won't be around for much longer.

Arc Raiders' Queen Can Be Easily Taken Out With a Single Blaze Grenade Trap

Arc Raiders Queen

Arc Raiders hasn't been out for two weeks yet, and players have already discovered a way to kill its biggest boss in one hit. With a single, well-placed Blaze Grenade Trap, the illustrious Queen will meet her demise — for now. The Blaze Grenade Trap in Arc Raiders has already become infamous for the insane amount of damage it can deal to other Raiders and smaller ARC, but no one ever expected it to be so devastating to the Queen herself. As such, it will more than likely be patched very soon, which means players need to get out there ASAP and take down Arc Raiders' ultimate foe before it's too late.

There isn't really one source for the exploit, as it has now been shared multiple times on various platforms. In a recent Reddit post by Morloxx_ titled "You can kill the queen with one(1) blaze grenade trap," for example, the user shared a clip from their own Twitch stream, showing the Blaze Grenade Trap going to work against the Queen. Other players, like streamer Lanza, have shared the exploit on X, confirming just how deadly the item is when used against Arc Raiders' toughest boss.

How the Arc Raiders Queen Exploit Works

The way the exploit works in Arc Raiders is rather simple on paper, though executing it requires some practice. Essentially, tossing a Blaze Grenade Trap near where the Queen's belly meets her head. Once it's attached, players can simply fire at it to trigger it, then get somewhere safe while it does the work. Much of this comes from just how powerful Arc Raiders' Blaze Grenade Trap is, but getting it to land at just the right spot is more than half the battle.

Of course, this is likely to be patched very soon, and some players have even already stated that they tried to use the exploit and failed, assuming that meant the nerf had already gone into effect. However, it's more likely that Embark will announce the patch either before or shortly after it goes live, rather than keeping it a secret. An exploit like this in Arc Raiders is just too big to ignore an online extraction shooter, so players should utilize it while they still can.
