Arc Raiders is all about finding as much loot as you can before needing to extract and "complete" a run. There are all types of things you can gather useful items from, like vehicles, broken machinery, Arc robots, shelves, desks, and sometimes, Security Lockers.

However, if you approach a loot-filled Security Locker in Arc Raiders, you might see a pop-up in red that says '0/1 Security Breach.' We'll explain what this means in our guide below.

For reasons I could've never expected, Arc Raiders has set the new standard for extraction shooters, and others in the genre should take notes.

How to Open Security Lockers in Arc Raiders (Security Breach, Explained)

In order to open these locked Security Lockers in Arc Raiders, you will need to actually unlock the Security Breach skill in the Survival skill tree. Unfortunately, this skill is one of the last ones to get, and it also requires players to invest 36 skill points in the Survival tree first, which can take quite some time.

You'll earn Skill Points naturally as you level up in Arc Raiders. The more things you loot, scavenge, and destroy will net you more XP for your Raider.

Some players might find it frustrating that opening these loot stashes requires you to spend time in a skill tree that might not suit their Arc Raiders playstyle, but you will find pretty good stuff in there from time to time, like recipes and higher-rarity items.

If you don't know where to go to unlock skills, just head to the main game screen and tab over to the Raider section with RB/R1. Once at the Raider screen, the Skill Tree can be opened by clicking on the leftmost icon underneath your character. There's a Conditioning, Mobility, and Survival tree with about 50 different skills to pick from.
