Snap and Salvage is the third quest for Stella Montis in ARC Raiders that players will receive from Tian Wen. It's a multi-objective quest that will require players to first take a photo of the Rovers in Sandbox, and then search for papers in the Security Checkpoint. After these objectives are completed, you'll need to find a Magnetron and a Flow Controller and deliver them to Tian Wen. Here's how to easily complete the Snap and Salvage quest in ARC Raiders.

Take a Photo of Rovers in the Sandbox in ARC Raiders (Snap and Salvage Quest)

Rover Sandbox Location Snap and Salvage ARC Raiders

The first objective for the Snap and Salvage quest is to reach the Robotic Sandbox A or B areas in ARC Raiders' Stella Montis map. These locations are preset in the second layer (bottom area) of the map, so players will need to make their way to the lower levels.

Rovers in Robotic Sandbox Snap and Salvage ARC Raiders

Once they reach one of the Robotic Sandbox areas, you'll spot a Rover sitting over a pile of sand. Before approaching the Rover, make sure to take out any turrets, Pops, Fireballs, and Shredders in the area. If you can stealth your way around a Shredder, go for it as taking it down is no easy task.

After making the area safe, simply approach the Rover and interact with it, and your raider will start taking a picture of it. Once the animation is done, the first objective of the Snap and Salvage quest will be marked as completed.

Search for Papers in the Security Checkpoint Room Near Lobby in Snap and Salvage (Location)

The next objective will require players to head to the main lobby of Stella Montis and enter the Security Checkpoint room in ARC Raiders. The lobby can be found on the first layer of the map, which happens to be the first floor, where multiple ARC machines will be roaming around.

Security Checkpoint Room Entrance Snap and Salvage ARC Raiders

The Security Checkpoint Room will have a desk in front of it, with Security Restricted Access written on a wall next to it. The door will be locked, and players will need to breach it to enter inside (unless another raider has already done so).

After entering the Security Checkpoint Room, look over the green desk, and you'll find a pile of papers. Interact with the papers to complete the second objective of the Snap and Salvage quest in ARC Raiders.

How to Get Magnetron & Flow Controller in ARC Raiders (Best Locations)

The last two objectives will require players to find two resources: Magnetron and Flow Controller in the Snap and Salvage quest in ARC Raiders. Both of these items fall under Exodus-type loot, but can also be found in areas that share a technological loot nature. You have a high chance of finding these two components in the following locations on Stella Montis.

After the Cold Snap update for ARC Raiders, the drop chance has been silently increased for both Magnetron and Flow Controllers on Stella Montis.

Assembly & Assembly Workshops: There are many small cabins and offices inside where you can check the drawers and other containers to get either Magnetron, Flow Controller, or both.
Medical Research: This area is a hotspot for PvP activity, so make sure to only go inside when you're early in the raid. Make sure to search all the medical rooms on the second floor, even the trash cans. This area has a higher chance of giving you a Flow Controller, but also drops Magnetrons.
Business Center: This area consists of adjoining lobbies that have several briefcases, bags, and drawers as lootable containers. Make sure to check them all as I've had similar luck in finding both Magnetrons and Flow Controllers here.

Alternatively, you can also look in the red lockers in the Rocket Assembly building on the Spaceport map to try and get these items.

Medical Research Stella Montis ARC Raiders

It's recommended to head into Stella Montis raids without equipment, so you have one free Safe Pocket to store either a Magnetron or a Flow Controller in. This will ensure it reaches back to your stash in Speranza, even if your raider doesn't make it.

Snap and Salvage Quest Complete ARC Raiders

After handing in the Magnetron and Flow Controller to Tian Wen, the Snap and Salvage quest will be marked as completed in ARC Raiders. You'll receive a Burletta III weapon, Silencer II attachment, Extended Light Mag attachment, and 100x Light Ammo as a reward.
