This guide will focus on completing the Source of the Contamination quest in ARC Raiders, including helping players reach the Water Treatment building in the Dam and searching for the Flood Spill Intake near the swamp.

The Flood Spill Intake near the Swamp location in ARC Raiders

The Source of the Contamination quest starts by leading players to reach the Water Treatment building in the Dam.

It's a simple quest in the Dam Battlegrounds map, which is the easiest map in ARC Raiders. The good part of Dam Battlegrounds is that most hostile players will automatically go to the Research and Administration high-value area to fight other hostile players. So, completing the Source of the Contamination quest in ARC Raiders can be a smooth journey.

You can find the first task's objective area north of the Water Treatment building, in the forest above it.

Reach the Water Treatment Building in The Dam in ARC Raiders

After you reach north of the Water Treatment Control area, you'll complete the first task to reach the Water Treatment building in the Dam, and a new task will appear, stating to search for the Flood Spill Intake near the swamp.

You can find the objective at the end of the swamp. It's a broken barrel spilling toxic liquid all over the surrounding area. Approach the barrel and interact with it to finish two objectives in the Source of the Contamination quest:

Search for the Flood Spill Intake near the Swamp.
Investigate any suspicious objects.

Luckily, there are no items to take back to Speranza, so you can start the raid with a free loadout. It's more of a quick in and out mission, where you'll just load the Dam Battlegrounds map, get north of the Water Treatment Control area, and complete the Source of the Contamination quest in ARC Raiders.
