In ARC Raiders, the voluntary Wipe mechanic (Expedition Project) can be a challenging new beginning for those trying it for the first time. But with the loss of your previous characters, a new adventure begins. In the ideal conditions, players wiping will receive 5 extra Skill points, and a +10% Experience buff that will make leveling up way faster.
But that doesn't necessarily mean everything is going to go smoothly for them. Even veterans will start regretting not having their old skills right away. However, the silver lining is that they will reach their prime faster this time. This list has five quickstart tips that players should be doing first after wiping in ARC Raiders. Follow these tips to make the most out of this new beginning.
Max Level in ARC Raiders, Explained (& Tips for Leveling)
In this guide, you can find out what your maximum player level is in ARC Raiders, along with some tips on how to boost your XP
1 Level Up Scrappy Fast
A Raider's Best Friend
Scrappy is not just a pet in ARC Raiders, it will be the players' quartermaster and little scavenger helper, bringing out extra Basic Materials and Seeds after every run through the Surface. The more players level up Scrappy, the faster this collection will be, so their top priority is to level up Scrappy to the maximum possible, before turning their attention to the Workbenches.
This will help players to recover basic mats after the wipe way faster, and if they follow up by installing the Refiner and leveling it up, they will resupply their Stashes with advanced materials in no time. Players will need to rebuild everything from scratch, especially the crafting benches, and with Scrappy's help, they'll do that in no time. So, the first thing will be to get a Dog Collar, to train Scrappy to level 2, then some Lemons (found in Blue Gate) and Apricots (found in Dam Battlegrounds). With Scrappy at level 3, it will be enough to set things on the right course. Just keep snowballing and crafting useful mats with the Basic Mats this Rooster Pal brings.
2 Collect Priority Loot For Workshop Upgrades
It's Time To Rebuild The Crafting Benches
Once players wipe, they will only have a couple of things in their Stash: Some basic weapons, Light Shields, and Augments. The rest is gone, so the logical step is to rebuild everything all over, starting with the Crafting Benches. Placing them and then leveling them up might be more challenging than what players remember, and there's a good reason for this: With the Skill Trees reset, they don't loot as fast, nor move as fast, nor get extra mats either.

Every 60 Days, ARC Raiders will go through a wide server wipe, and here's how to save your progress for your next Raider using the Expeditions.
So, the ideal thing to do is to get priority materials that players need for upgrading their benches up to level 2 at least. That means: Rusted Tools, Surveyor Vaults, Rusty Gears, Mechanical and Electrical Components (both regular and advanced), tons of ARC Alloy, ARC Motion Cores, Wasp Drives, Hornet Drives, Cooling Fan, Damaged Heat Sink, Fabric, and the list goes on forever. All the materials players need to upgrade their Workshop can be easily obtained in the maps with Dynamic Events like Night Raid, or Cold Snap, since these have Boosted Loot. Just be careful not to be murdered in the process of looting.
3 Use The EXP Boost To Level Up Faster
If You Are Not Doing This, Then What's The Point Of Wiping?
The more time spent on the Topside, the more EXP the players will gain. That is, as long as they are on the move, killing ARC Enemies, looting containers, and so on. With the EXP buff that they receive after the wipe, fresh-spawned Raiders are a menace; they can climb levels at an alarming speed, and this will be the next thing on the priority list for every player after a wipe: To reach level 30.
Why that particular level? Because in ideal conditions (that is, if they managed to get the 5000000 Credits needed to obtain 5 extra Skill Points), they will be able to max out one of the three Skill lines (Survival, Mobility, Conditioning), and that's only if they are smart enough to prioritize one of the Skill Trees instead of randomly allocating points. Prioritize Survival for more loot, or Mobility for faster runs. Conditioning can be circumstantial at best or provide significant help for players who love PvP, but that's up for the players to decide.
4 Prioritize Survival Tree To Recover High-Level Gear Faster
This Is The Faster Way Back To The Top
In Round Crafting is the best, no matter how many times players are out of supplies in the Topside, they can easily craft some basic necessities if (and only if) they have this Skill activated on their build. Traveling Tinkerer also helps greatly, but the main reason for prioritizing Survival Tree is the extra loot and the faster looting.
ARC Raiders: Are Expeditions Worth It?
ARC Raiders offers players the opportunity to wipe their current character and start a new one via Expeditions, but it comes with both pros and cons.
Plus, at level 36, which players will reach at level 30 after Wiping with 5 extra skills, they can unlock Security Lockers that contain tons of high-value Loot, and are scattered through the maps in zones that are not usually contested. Players can spend an entire run just opening these Security lockers and forgetting about PvP. They will be able to regain the best gear, blueprints, and materials in no time.
5 Farm Blueprints
Last And Finally, It's Time To Re-Unlock All Recipes
Having all workbenches leveled up is all nice and good, but what about Blueprints? Having these is another top priority for a freshly-wiped ARC Raiders player. The problem is: Where to get Blueprints fast? There are a few tricks to accomplish this, and one consists of participating in the many Dynamic Events like Cold Snap and Night Raid. Though these are extremely dangerous for a low-level Raider, they can yield a greater amount of blueprints than regular runs.
On the other hand, there are safe routes players can follow in each map. For example, in Dam Battlegrounds, the Pale Appartments, and Ruby Residence often contain lots of blueprints, and are not so contested in terms of PvP. The Formicai Outpost, Radio Tower (located between the Scrap Yards and the Water Towers) are also a good place to search for Blueprints. In Buried City, the Library is the optimal place to look for new blueprints. And if players are going to Blue Gate, they can find lots of Blueprints in the Launch Towers, though it's a highly contested PvP zone.
