Best Locations to Farm Tick Pods
Tick Pods are an exclusive drop from Ticks, which tend to roam abandoned facilities and apartment blocks. One of the best farming spots is the Pale Apartments section of the Dam Battlegrounds map. There are not many Ticks there, but the area is often deserted and attracts few other players, making it ideal for low-conflict farming.

Tick Pods' Usage and Value
Tick Pods sometimes appear in ARC Raiders' Trial objectives, but most players farm them to upgrade the Medical Lab workbench. The first Medical Lab level requires eight Tick Pods, along with a couple of Cracked Bioscanners and some Durable Cloths.
Turn on the Track Resources feature for the Medical Lab upgrade so Tick Pods you find topside appear with a unique icon. That reduces the chance of missing them.
Selling Tick Pods isn't a great money-maker—each sells for only 640 Credits—so it's usually better to keep them for upgrades, crafting, or recycling into critical ARC Raiders materials like ARC Alloy.
Tips for Spotting Ticks Faster and Getting More Tick Pods
- Search high-risk (red and yellow) zones: Ticks spawn more often near areas with better loot.
