Embark Studios has confirmed that players who complete ARC Raiders' first Expedition Project will receive a brand-new skin called the Patchwork Raider outfit, and many are hoping it turns out to be the same as the tutorial skin. For those unfamiliar, ARC Raiders begins with a short introductory mission that teaches players the basic mechanics. During this section, the protagonist wears a sand-blasted, threadbare outfit, complete with a scarf-like piece of fabric covering their face and dusty goggles to protect their eyes. According to players, the outfit's popularity comes from how well it captures the scavenger look and blends seamlessly with the game's atmosphere and lore.

Some users even shared datamined and leaked images, inquiring if those were the mysterious skin. However, the community managers have confirmed that at least two of these supposedly leaked images are not the Patchwork look.
