The combat system in Arknights Endfield is easy to learn, but hard to master. Your choice of Operators is the main deciding factor on what skill rotations you use, and since your overall power depends greatly on who you bring to a fight, you'll want to create teams that have high synergy between its members. In this Endfield guide, we'll briefly go over some of the best teams you can make with the 1.0 roster of characters.

A tier list can help players assess the characters they have and which to prioritize; here's Arknights: Endfield tier list.

Physical Team

Endmin, Chen, Pogranichnik, Ember

This team is built around applying as many stacks of Vulnerable as possible to trigger either Endmin's Crush or Pogranichnik's Breach statuses. Chen can easily stack Vulnerable three times onto an enemy using only two SP, and if you can trigger Ember's Combo Skill by getting hit, you'll get max Vulnerable stacks on your target, priming them for Endmin or Pogranichnik. Get the latter's Breach off before prepping for Endmin's Crush to deal max damage.

Alternative Physical team

The team above relies a lot on Pogranichnik for SP recovery and Breach application. If you don't have him, you can replace him with these characters to achieve more or less the same effect:

  • Ardelia can apply Physical Susceptibility, which increases the Physical Damage taken by enemies. Start with a Final Strike, then follow-up with Ardelia's Combo and Battle Skills to inflict Physical Susceptibility.
  • Lifeng applies Physical Susceptibility if his Battle Skill hits a target with no Vulnerable stacks.

Da Pan can help with Vulnerable application, while Akekuri can help with SP recovery. Replace Ember with either of these units if you feel the need to.

Last Rite Hyper Carry Team

Last Rite, Xaihi, Perlica, Ardelia

Last Rite is capable of massive damage, but you need to inflict Cryo Infliction on enemies first. She can do fairly well by herself, but to maximize her DPS, you'll need to pair her with another Cryo unit. Xaihi is perfect for this, as she synergizes with Last Rite's Final Strike-reliant playstyle.

Xaihi's Battle Skill either heals your controlled Operator when they perform a Final Strike, or provide an Arts Amp for them if they have full health. After two Final Strikes, you'll be able to use Xaihi's Combo Skill, which applies Cryo Infliction.

Last Rite teams in Endfield benefit a lot from damage amplification effects. Perlica and Ardelia are here to buff Last Rite's damage even more through Electrification, Corrosion, and Arts Susceptibility. Both have Combo Skills that trigger off Final Strikes, and they don't need to use their Battle Skills to provide value. If you'd rather apply Cryo Infliction more frequently, replace Perlica with Estella.

Laevatain Hyper Carry

Laevatain, Akekuri, Wulfgard, Antal

Laevatain is the best character in Endfield (so far) when it comes to dealing AoE damage, but she can only do so if you can apply Heat Infliction to enemies constantly. Akekuri and Wulfguard are perfect for this.

Akekuri is a great unit in general thanks to the SP recovery on her Ultimate, but she shines best when she's in a team that relies heavily on Arts Reactions. Wulfguard, on the other hand, is more of a sub-DPS that focuses on applying Heat Infliction.

The plan is simple: set everything on fire so Laevatain can stack Melting Flame as quickly as possible. At 4 Stacks of Melting Flame, Laevatain empowers her Battle Skill, letting her deal more damage and forcibly apply Combust to enemies in a large area.

Antal is our main buffer for this team. He can apply Heat Susceptibility at the press of a button, and whenever you apply an Arts Infliction (in this case, Heat Infliction), you can trigger his Combo Skill to apply even more Heat Infliction. You can replace him with Ardelia if you want more healing, but he's more than enough to drive Laevatain's team.

Mono Electric Team Comp

Avywenna, Arclight, Perlica, Antal

This team is all about applying Electric Infliction so Avywenna can let loose with her Battle Skill and Ultimate. Whenever she hits a target with Electric Infliction using her Final Strike, Avywenna can use her Combo Skill to release spears behind her target. Use her Battle Skill to recall those spears, causing massive damage to any enemy they pass through on their way back.

Perlica and Antal can amplify Avywenna's damage through their abilities, while Arclight can recover the team's SP through her Combo Skill and consume Electric Infusion/Electrification with her Battle Skill and Ultimate. Make sure not to use Arclight's Battle Skill until Avywenna is done spawning her spears.
