How to Get Aketine in Arknights Endfield
There are two ways to get Aketine in Arknights Endfield:
- Find it in the wild
- Make it at your AIC Factory
To make Aketine at your AIC Factory in Arknights: Endfield, you must first find at least one Aketine in the wild, as you need to use it in order to create Aketine Seeds, which are in turn used to create Aketine again. The best place to find Aketine in the early game is the Abandoned Trail in the Valley Pass area.
Once you've found Aketine once, there really isn't any need to go looking for it in the wild again, as it's very quick and easy to start farming it in your AIC Factory with just two facilities.
How to Farm Aketine in Arknights Endfield
Here are step-by-step instructions explaining how to farm Aketine in Arknights Endfield:
- Complete the 'Paving the Way' main mission.
- Use the Expansion Core to unlock the second tier of the AIC Factory Plan.
- Unlock the Seed-Picking Unit and Planter on the AIC Factory Plan.
- Place the Seed-Picking Unit and Planter near each other in your Factory.
- Use belts to connect the Seed-Picking Unit to the Planter.
- Then use belts from the other side of the Planter to connect with the other side of the Seed-Picking Unit.
- Place Aketine into the Seed-Picking Unit.
With that, you've created an infinite loop of extracting seeds from Aketine and converting them back to double the Aketine you initially used.
If you find the above method doesn't work for some reason, make sure that your facilities have power, and that your belts have been connected the right way (an output socket of one facility into the input socket of another facility).
How to Make Explosives in Arknights Endfield
You need to use the Packaging Unit to combine Amethyst Parts and Aketine Powder to make explosives in Arknights: Endfield. This facility is unlocked from the second tier of the AIC Factory Plan. To get Amethyst Parts, you need to first make Amethyst Fiber by using Amethyst Ore in the Refining Unit, then put the Amethyst Fiber into the Fitting Unit. To get Aketine Powder, you only need to put Aketine into the Shredding Unit.
Once you've done all of that and have enough Amethyst Parts and Aketine Powder, pop them both in the Packaging Unit to make the "Industrial Explosive" item. These explosives can then be selected from your backpack and thrown to create explosions, just like the free explosives you sometimes find in the wild. So it's a good idea to keep a few Industrial Explosives in your backpack while exploring, just in case you come across a destructible with no free explosives nearby.
