Arknights Endfield Valley Reboot Quest, Explained
After meeting Director Qin at the base entrance during the Break the Siege quest, the Valley Reboot quest begins in Arknights Endfield. From here, make your way to the base outskirts, also known as The Hub area. Simply follow the yellow circular marker on your map, then continue toward the deployment area using the next marker.
On the way, you’ll run into Landbreakers and may also spot UWST crewmates being attacked. Rescuing them is optional, but doing so rewards extra loot.
Once you reach the deployment area, defeat all Landbreaker enemies to clear the path forward. After the area is secured, you’ll meet Andre, who asks you to install the Protocol Automation-Core (PAC) at the center of the base. Walk into the large yellow circle and select the ‘Place PAC’ option. The tower will descend and attach itself to the core.
Once the process finishes, the hub is renamed the Core AIC Area, and you unlock AIC Builder Mode. This mode lets you place resource and power facilities, farm materials, and start power channels directly from the hub.
How to Transmit Power to the Protocol Resonance Tower in Arknights Endfield
The main objective of the Valley Reboot quest is to start power transmission from the PAC to the Protocol Resonance Tower, which is located far away from the PAC. To make this happen, you have to place three Relay Towers between the PAC and the Resonance Tower and link them, so power can flow all the way through.
Start by placing your first Relay Tower near the PAC. A hologram will show the correct placement spot. Follow the short tutorial, open AIC Mode (look at the top left), move the Relay Tower from your backpack to the hotbar, and drag it onto the field. Adjust it until it matches the hologram and place it.
Next, run back to the PAC and select the “Start Transmission” option. Then, interact with the Relay Tower and choose “Plug Transmission Cable” to bridge it to the PAC.
Now, continue placing more Relay Towers by following the on-screen marker. Each time, summon a Relay Tower from the hotbar, place it where the hologram appears, and select “Plug Transmission Cable” to link it with the previous tower.
After installing the last Relay Tower, engage with the Resonance Tower and finally select the “Plug Transmission Cable,” then teleport back to the PAC. This completes the Valley Reboot quest.
Make sure every Relay Tower is properly linked back to the PAC, or the connection option won’t show up on the Resonance Tower, and you’ll be stuck in the quest.
