Asmongold is one of those Twitch streamers who isn't afraid to voice his opinion on major controversies, and recently during a Twitch stream when fans asked his opinion regarding Andrew Tate’s arrest and whether he thinks government involvement is a possibility, he was quick to respond. He said that the possibility of government involvement in this situation is pretty high and that it's not uncommon for governments to frame people. He went on to point to the example of one of the most prominent leaders in the civil rights movement, Martin Luther King Jr., who was framed by the government.

Asmongold also made it clear that just because he doesn't trust the government, that doesn't mean he thinks Andrew Tate is innocent; however, that hasn't stopped people from criticizing him. Asmongold is no stranger to criticism, as evidenced by his recent comment about Nadia getting banned. Asmongold's statement that Nadia should be permanently banned provoked a strong reaction from many fans. Some were not happy about the comment, but others agreed with his conclusion.

It's no secret that UK-based internet celebrity Andrew Tate has a very loyal fan base from all around the world.
