The first one is a basic torch, which can help illuminate dark areas and set things on fire. The second tool is a blowdart, which can be skillfully used to put enemies to sleep from a distance. Next on the list is a trusty smoke bomb, a staple part of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, usually best used when escaping from enemies, as it creates a huge cloud of smoke that provides valuable cover.

The fourth tool is unquestionably the deadliest one in the game - the throwing knife. In previous games, the knives were used to easily dispose of unsuspecting foes from afar. Another useful tool is the noisemaker, which can be used to distract enemies, then slip easily past them. Finally, the last new tool meant to improve Assasin’s Creed Mirage's gameplay is the throwable poison trap which spews a cloud of deadly gas that will gradually damage anyone unlucky enough to be caught within its radius.

In the hands of a skilled player, these tools can provide an unprecedented advantage, as they will enhance Basim's ability to tactically maneuver around Baghdad with accuracy and expertise, as well as guarantee an immersive and engaging gaming experience for stealth fans. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will also feature a significantly smaller map in comparison to the previous Assassin's Creed games, which could perhaps also serve as a sign of a more focused and intimate gameplay experience that many fans longed for.
