Ancient Tomb of Nanjo Kofun Location in Assassin's Creed Shadows

Players can find the Ancient Tomb of Nanjo in the Eagle's Nest area of the Yamashiro region in Assassin's Creed Shadows. The tomb entrance is located just west of the Southern Kyoto Kakurega, across the river. After reaching the undiscovered location, the name of the kofun will pop up. Now, players can simply descend the Ancient Tomb of Nanjo and start exploring.

Ancient Tomb of Nanjo Solution

The Ancient Tomb of Nanjo is confusing to navigate as players can get turned around quite easily due to its branching pathways. Here's how you can complete this Kofun and get the legendary chest at the end.

Descend the stairs of the Ancient Tomb of Nanjo Kofun and jump into the pond below.
Keep moving through the narrow cave system until you arrive in a large room with a pond and two pathways on the left and right.
Take the pathway to the right, and you'll need to drop into another room with branching pathways.
Again, take the pathway to the right and keep moving ahead until you reach a pond with two stone pillars in the middle. Use the pillars to get across.
Once you head across the pond and drop further into the cavern, you'll need to enter a crawlspace and reach the other side.
Now, head up the staircase and keep heading forward until you arrive at a large pond. Jump into the pond and head left, climb the stone pillars, and you'll drop into a chamber with multiple pathways, again.
Choose the path ahead, use the stone pillars to climb to the higher section, and squeeze through the crack to open a chest.
Now, exit the chamber and use the grappling hook to get across the pond below.
Climb up to the higher platform using indentations on the wall and follow the cave, only to arrive in a room with two pathways.
Take the left pathway and keep following the caverns to finally arrive at the legendary chest.

After opening the legendary chest in the Ancient Tomb of Nanjo Kofun in AC Shadows, players will receive Yukimitsu's Revenge, a legendary tanto alongside its engraving that makes enemies who are afflicted with a status effect vulnerable. The weapon also comes with a high poison buildup, which synergizes well with its unique perk.
