However, during the Showdown in Sakamoto quest, locating Shotei can get confusing as he's on the outskirts of town with no named location around him. Starting Showdown in Sakamoto Quest in AC Shadows

Showdown in Sakamoto is the final quest for the Naginata of the Shinbakufu, where players will assassinate Akechi Kagemitsu in Assassin's Creed Shadows. To start this quest, players must first complete the two pre-requisite quests, An Evening in Otsu and Against the Koga-ryu.

Once these two quests are completed, players will be required to meet up with Shotei near the Sakamoto town. However, after searching for all the undiscovered locations around the town, Shotei is nowhere to be found. Here's how you can find him.

Where to Find Shotei in Assassin's Creed Shadows

According to the clues provided in the Showdown in Sakamoto quests.

Shotei is in Omi
He is at the tower near Sakamoto
The tower overlooks the town

However, there aren't any towers around Sakamoto, at least not near it. To find Shotei and the tower he's located in, head to the northern part of the town of Sakamoto. After you reach here, look across the fields, and you'll spot a wooden structure perched up on a hill (refer to the image above). That's the tower where players can find Shoei.

Simply take the path towards the left side of the hill and start going up the hill from there. After a few twists and turns, players will arrive at the Sakamoto Tower. Here, Shotei will be standing at the edge of the cliff, looking over the town.

Now that you've found Shotei in the Showdown in Sakamoto quest in AC Shadows, you can easily proceed with the quest and assassinate Akechi Kagemitsu, located inside Sakamoto Castle. However, there are a few steps involved before players can proceed with the assassination.
