Assassinating the Ox's Lieutenant in AC Shadows

To assassinate the Ox (Shinbakufu) in Assassin's Creed Shadows, players must gain entry into the Miki Castle. However, to secure a passage inside undetected, you'll need to fulfill Hiromichi's (the merchant) request to assassinate Ox's faithful commander. Since Hiromichi fears that the commander might replace him soon, assassinating him will be mutually beneficial to Naoe and Yasuke.

After visiting the Takasago Shrine, players find out that the Ox isn't in the shrine but guarding some cargo on a ship. The ship is located towards the southeast of the Kakogawa Estuary. After finding the Takasago Commander and assassinating him, players will recover a Shipping Manifest from his body. Now, players must report back to Hiromichi to update him on the successful assassination.

After updating Hiromichi on the successful assassination of the Ox's lieutenant, he'll ask the players if they've found a Shipping Manifest on his body. He further adds that if he got ahold of that Shipping Manifest, he would ensure the continued flow of goods into Harima. This means no one will go hungry, but it'll also help Hiromichi cut off the competition.

Although Hiromichi has a good reason to demand the Shipping Manifest, his secondary intentions may sound nefarious to many. So, it's up to the players whether they should give the Shipping Manifest to Hiromichi or withhold it in the Of My Enemy quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows.

If you decide to give the Shipping Manifest to Hiromichi, he'll commend the player's ability to set aside their moral objections in the pursuit of the greater good. However, if you decide to withhold the Shipping Manifest, Hiromichi will simply walk away, and the mission will be marked as complete regardless of the choice.
